Comforting earthy spice

I don't actually wear this myself. It belongs to my partner, and always makes me think of when I first moved in with them and I could smell all the Lord Of Misrule products in their bathroom. It's nice and cozy thanks to that association. It's a pleasant earthy peppery scent that doesn't feel "too much."

A scent to dote on

I wish I could tell you I remember what initially convinced me to pick this one up on a whim at the Lush in the local mall, but holy smokes, I’m so grateful I did. This became my signature scent for over a year and it’s still a jar I keep in my bag at all times.

The notes are straightforward and all come through, at least on my skin (though I can safely assume the same for everyone else using this) and literally melts onto me. Though, that’s not the most ideal thing ever, since it feels to me like I need to reapply a glob of this onto my wrists/neck after a few hours.

I’m debating picking up the bottled version of this in the new year but I’ve heard the notes land differently on the skin compared to this version. Eh, worth a try…this scent is perfection.

The naughty angel of LUSH

~~A little playful angel, but far from being a devil. ~~
A very honest perfume: It's literally the three named notes and it smells very nice.
Lovely sweet-spicy opening, followed by a peppery note and patchouli.
This solid perfume is a bit milder than the EDP, and to me that's a great thing. The EDP was just a bit too much when I first smelled it. This version here is less spicy and more on the sweeter side. So if you want it spicier, try the EDP.

This solid perfume comes in a small lipstick-ish version. Great to just take with you if you want to reapply. I usually get 2.5 hours of spicy vanilla goodness, so being able to take it with you is very convenient!
And for 12£/15€ this is a great fragrance to experiment with!

Elevated patchouli

The patchouli in this is so lovely and smooth I can't imagine anyone being offended by it. The vanilla add a touch of creamy sweetness and the black pepper adds a little spice. The throw on the solid perfume is almost non existent, but it a nice little scent to smell underneath a warm sweater. This is one I wear outside during the winter under many layers, just for me.
