Missed Profession
I join Knurli: the Snow Fairy has missed her profession.
Tooth Fairy would have been much more fitting, because instead of snow flurries, there’s Blendi, Blendi, and more Blendi.
Every child of my generation brushed their milk teeth with Blendi, and I, like probably many others, had an enormous consumption of the pink toothpaste. But it was delicious!
Today, 30 years later, I smell the Snow Fairy and I'm not sure: do I want to smell like Blendi? Like children's toothpaste?
I don't really know... because the blend note lingers quite a while, it takes a long time before the mentioned sweets make an appearance.
But, all in all, the Snow Fairy is worth a time travel every now and then.
Then I see myself in spirit in my favorite pajamas (white with red flowers) standing in my parents' bathroom (tiled in frog green back then and now), and eventually, Mum comes in because I’m suspiciously taking too long to brush my teeth.
Then I get packed into bed and cuddled, and while falling asleep, I have the taste of Blendi on my tongue.
Thank you for beautiful, cozy memories.

The Snow Fairy and Blendi
I just had to have this scent when it was available as a Christmas special in 2013 at Lush. I love the shower gel of the same name too much, which is a guarantee for olfactory pink bubblegum bliss for me every winter in the shower.
The first impression was a shock. Sweetener sweet. Children's cough syrup with Blendi. The fairy really hits hard with the synthetic club here.
Once the initial tumult has settled, the sweets come to the forefront. Primarily, the stuff that you loved to eat as a child at the public pool. I immediately think of Hubba Bubba gum, gummy strings, and cherry candies.
My husband's reaction: "Mmmhhh Fizzers." My office colleague thought of the Wachau (apricots), and I thought of Willy Wonka.
The end fades out with a packet of artificial vanilla sugar.
All in all, a very loud, bright pink scent. Pippi Longstocking would probably wear it quite confidently; I really have to be in the mood for it, otherwise I feel silly wearing it.
