Original take on frangipani / almond

Don't expect a typical frangipani flower scent, it's not. It's much more almondy. Frangipani oil is listed as ingredient, and I would say it's what gives it its very rich, sultry side. It's like a good match between exotic flowers (but without going towards the sun lotion path; I don't really get ylang-ylang, luckily) and ground almond with sugar (what is used in bakery). It doesn't smell like anything I tried before. It's quite additive actually. It does last all day but becomes a skin scent after 4-5 hrs on my skin.

Childhood

Somehow, this lovely tiny gem reminds me of childhood. Not sure if it is because of the similiarities with other perfumes or, it is just a familiar smell of almonds and milkish cozyness. I haven't smelled Frangipani flowers until now, but the scent is indeed yellow ish with some hints of Ylang maybe... Starts with a very realistic raw bitter almond and it develops so nicely and beautifully feminine on my skin. It is a woody floral indeed, but the wood is tender, like in Samsara. Nothing masculine or edgy or smoky. It lasts all day, but is close to skin. Most surely if worn as signature the silllage will be noticeable.
Please Lush , bring it back! The ebay stock is not enough :(
