"Kaaarl, this kills people!"
...that’s what I wanted to say to my colleague (who, of course, has a different name) when she recommended this fragrance to me and I applied it without any suspicion. "Grassroots | Lush / Cosmetics To Go" then hits you with a spicy sharpness that takes away your hearing, sight (and smell)! Plus, a sillage that is unmatched.
It takes some time, about 15 to 30 minutes, to endure the intensity of this fragrance roller, then the cloud lifts and the scent becomes softer and nicer. Essentially, it is a sweet, somewhat floral fragrance. It is unisex mainly because of the spice bomb it detonates at the beginning; afterward, it smells purely feminine. Unfortunately, it then becomes somewhat faceless and nothing really special anymore. A nice fragrance for leisure time, but for everything else, it shocks those around you too much.
The super sillage runs out of steam after about 2 hours, then the fragrance rapidly loses its projection power. After 7 hours, it is then very close to the skin.
I really liked the bottle with its cool cork cap. In stark contrast to the sprayer, which was very poorly made at least in my case.
A nice trip into the primal force that Lush's Grassroots offers. But I prefer to stay away from it and let my colleague enjoy her pleasure with this Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde fragrance.
