"Kaaarl, that kills people!"
...that's what I wanted to say to my colleague (who of course has a different name) when she recommended this fragrance to me and I put it on, not suspecting anything bad. Grassroots then hits you with a spicy pungency that will make you lose sight (and smell)! Plus a sillage that is second to none.
It takes some time, about 15 to 30 minutes, to endure the intense scent, then the cloud lifts and the fragrance becomes softer and softer. It is basically a sweet, somewhat floral fragrance. It is unisex at most because of the spice bomb that it ignites at the beginning, after which it smells purely feminine. Unfortunately, it is then also somewhat faceless and nothing really special. A nice fragrance for leisure time, with everything else you shock people too much.
The over-sillage fires its powder after just under 2 hours, then the fragrance loses its projection power at high speed. After 7 hours, it is then close to the skin.
I really liked the bottle with its cool cork lid. In contrast to the sprayer, which was very poorly made, at least in my case.
A nice trip into the elemental force that Lush's Graswurzel offers. But I prefer to stay away from it and let my colleague enjoy this Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde fragrance.
