Surprisingly fine and summery
And it lasts for several hours.
M.Asam was completely unknown to me until a few months ago. But then I was in a bookstore and the cashier smelled so fine-weak-good.
I asked her about her fragrance and she told me about a home shopping channel and the brand M.Asam, which you couldn't buy anywhere else.
Well, I quickly dismissed it; I have never bought anything from a home shopping channel.
But then recently a fragrance from this brand was offered in a swap: "M. Asam 2013".
I remembered the woman in the bookstore and swapped for this fragrance.
What can I say?
It is not the scent of the lady back then. "2013" smells less intense, more floral, and a bit citrusy.
From the very beginning.
At first, the citrus notes were too much for me. But then this fragrance develops into a soft heart-base note scent, very harmonious; for my scent perception, the citrus notes blend a little with the almond and just slightly with the vanilla.
That's good; I can gladly do without caramel and tonka bean - I used to smoke those.
The longevity and sillage surprise me. I wouldn't have expected it to last 5 - 6 hours.
For me, it's a calm, pleasant late spring-early summer scent. I will likely wear it when I don't want to stand out but still want to smell nice and agreeable.
