a truly successful surprise
My therapist gifted me this fragrance from Miriam Asam for my birthday.
She mentioned that it would also be very pleasant as a room spray.
If I didn't like it on my skin, I could use it that way instead.
This limitation was made because she knows how particular, not to say: critical I am when it comes to choosing my fragrances. She knows me well!

I mainly know the company M. and M. Asam from cosmetics: there are very nice specialty products that smell pleasant and are also effective.
These products are always charmingly presented on teleshopping by at least one member of the Asam family.

Most fresh fragrances with green tea that I know make me sneeze or cough. It gets to the point where tears flow and I look all puffy.
Therefore, I generally avoid them.
This "green tea" from Miriam Asam is a delightful surprise: it "buzzes" pleasantly with freshness, without scratching or biting - how lovely!

The opening is pleasantly fresh: a bit tart, a bit bitter!
The mandarin adds a welcome hint of sweetness.
A very nice combination that transports you to a garden with trees full of ripe citrus fruits. The glossy dark foliage of the trees rustles softly in the gentle wind.
Cardamom-spiced green tea gives this fragrance depth; the noble, woody base grounds the fruity aromatic wake-up call.
"M. Asam No. 1" is less of a perfume and more of a fragrance water.
It doesn't last particularly long, but the repeated spraying refreshes the kick of freshness!

This is a very nice summer scent that refreshes in great heat without unpleasantly bothering the surroundings.
On the contrary: it attracts positive attention!
I am thrilled with this unexpected surprise.

Must resist the temptation to drink the scent!
Asam No. 1 is one of those fragrances that I actually stumbled upon by chance while searching for scents that contain tea. As you know, I really enjoy drinking tea; even though my favorite type is black tea, I also like other varieties, such as green tea.

So I was all the more curious about this scent (just as I am curious about all fragrances that contain tea. I welcome suggestions for more tea fragrances :)

So, I quickly applied the scent and tested it.

The scent:
The top note is citrusy but not really sour (maybe cats don’t run away, but maybe they do?). However, before you can smell the listed notes like bergamot, grapefruit, or lime, a wonderful (green) tea scent greets you, which alone brings a smile to your face because of its lovely aroma. Additionally, the green tea sometimes also smells like black tea, which I personally really like.
Of the citrus notes mentioned earlier, you can best perceive the lemon/lime, while the mandarin and grapefruit are much too weak and actually cannot be properly detected.
Even in the heart note, you can still smell the green tea, which comes across so authentically that you occasionally feel a slight scratch in your throat, just like you sometimes do when drinking green tea with lemon. However, the scratchy feeling quickly disappears as the lemon becomes a bit weaker, and you still have the impression that you can smell a tiny bit of black tea. A few hours later, the scent becomes noticeably sweeter due to the amber, which is also because the lemon or lime recedes far into the background. The scent only becomes slightly woody at the end.

The longevity and sillage:
The longevity is below average; it lasts no more than four or five hours.
The sillage is quite okay. Not overwhelmingly strong, but it can be perceived nearby. However, I think these scents are generally meant for oneself, so the sillage is sufficient since the lovely scent occasionally wafts up to your nose.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and green tea green. On the front, the name and brand of the fragrance are simply displayed. It is topped with a cylindrical and also green cap. Overall, it’s very simple, but at least the color is nice.

Wow, I am very satisfied with this scent. Sure, in my opinion, it could have been stronger, but well, you know how it is; there’s always something to complain about…

But anyway, with Asam No. 1, you get a wonderful tea scent that smells so delightful that I personally would love to drink it. Since I like to drink tea often, there’s even an extra sugar shaker on my desk, which makes it much harder for me to resist the temptation to drink the scent. So before I continue writing, I’ll quickly brew myself a tea.

… *brew* *brew* …. You should actually wait in real-time until my tea is ready before you continue reading, okay? (but I don’t really believe that you’ll wait… so go ahead and keep reading…)

Alright, the tea is here (but there are no cookies left, I think I might cry…), so let’s continue.

The scent is definitely a light fragrance for warm days in spring and summer. Unfortunately, it cannot be used as an evening scent at all, as it is far too weak in sillage for that and therefore doesn’t really hold up as a daytime scent without reapplying. But for feeling good, hardly any scent could be better suited. It even feels quite invigorating. Moreover, it is absolutely unisex. Many hours into the base, it doesn’t smell as great to me as it did in the first few hours, but it’s still nice enough; on the other hand, you can always reapply as mentioned in time.

I would definitely recommend testing this scent. Especially since it’s so affordable (with a bit of luck, you can find it online for about 20 euros for 100 mL).

For Aromatherapy.
Beautiful perfume for a well-groomed wellness afternoon. I only knew the company Asam through their super good scrubs. I received a jar of body scrub from the VinoGold series as a gift and found the scent very pleasant, especially for summer. Very zesty, typically bergamot, green, and fresh. I thought: "that as a perfume wouldn't be bad.." At some point, I found out that No.1 corresponds exactly to the scent of the scrub. Didn't hesitate long and bought it. Super!! It is really pleasant, starts off very refreshing, clean, clear, and after about 20 minutes it becomes finer, but still, yes I would say.. sporty. So absolutely the right choice for active people. I would also say that this is more of a unisex scent. On me, it lasts about 5 hours, but nuances are perceivable all day, as it also holds well on the hair.
I am thrilled and happy to have found this scent, as it can always be used for the mentioned wellness activities and gives a fresh summer kick in between. It does me good!

Fresh Feel-Good Fragrance!
Fragrance No.1 by M. Asam is a revitalizing and fresh green-citrus scent.
I often and very much enjoy using it for all sorts of occasions. The wearer is surrounded by a very pleasant fragrance that is never too much or even intrusive. Due to the very delicious citrus top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, lime, and mandarin, it is a feel-good fragrance par excellence!
Ideal also for the warm season! The top notes transition gently and harmoniously into
the green heart notes and finally into the slightly woody base of amber and cedarwood, which fix the fragrance well.

Absolutely recommended for lovers of citrus-green scents!

Gifts Bring Joy
Every woman is happy to receive fragrances and skincare products as a birthday gift. This year, I was once again one of the lucky ones.

M.Asam Fragrance No. 1 and Vinogold Day and Night Cream. The perfume and cream share the same scent. It's practically a complete package.
The packaging already looks fresh...everything in a bright green.
The bottle felt good in my hand when I sprayed a strong puff on my arm for the first time. My little sniffing nose immediately picked up the trail. Right from the start, limes and lemons rolled over my skin. But to keep them from getting too carried away, they were brought to reason by a somewhat stern bergamot. But where has the mandarin hidden? Madame Grapefruit also took her time to make an appearance. My nose dove a little deeper into the scented area. There, the missing ones are stuck, so to speak, at the base of the scent, firmly on the skin.
In the heart note, it simply becomes delicious. After the very fresh opening, Fragrance No. 1 has noticeably cooled down. The mandarin is now daring a bit and adds sweetness. Tactically very clever. The sweetness fits perfectly with the warmth of cardamom and green tea.
I once brought back amber resin chunks from Morocco. They were simply rubbed on the skin and left a pure amber scent.
Exactly this smell lingers in my nose after about 20 minutes.

I like it, I love it, I am addicted to it.
.
M.Asam Fragrance No. 1 is a must-have. A scent that one can wear every day. First the freshness explosion, then a serious, unobtrusive fragrance.
The bottle is simple. Rectangular and made of green glass. The cap shines metallic green; it could have been a Christmas ornament in a previous life.

Fresh, tangy citrus with a hint of bitter green tea that's been steeped too long. Served on a wooden bench in front of a mowed lawn. Nice freshie!

Pleasantly green, very fresh, clear, distinctive, recognizable - a summer scent. The pale green color is fitting, a unisex splash after a shower.

This is that green tea fruit juice blend you can recently buy in a Tetra Pak. But here it is for spraying. Relatively tasty.
