Extase Latin Fever Woman Mäurer & Wirtz 2010

Today is New Year's Eve and I am reflecting on the past year.

Melancholy creeps in - and I rummage through old fragrances.
Oh, look, there was still Extase Latin Fever hiding!

My tendency towards disorder at least offers some surprises.

Although the fragrance is already 10 years old, it still feels contemporary and not a bit dusty.

Still, I turn back time and think of when the family was still complete.

Beautiful memories surface - pleasantly accompanied by fruity notes that remain transparent through the aquatic mandarin.
Floral elements gently mix in - wafted by a delicate smokiness.

I really like this smoky note with the brightness of the fragrance - as it gives Latin Fever depth and a touch of melancholy that matches my mood.

This twist makes the fragrance surprising and interesting.

May the new year hold only positive surprises for us.

All of this is what I like. Why was it rated so poorly? Just because of the longevity? Ugh ... But anyway; I can't comment on the longevity, as I ultimately didn't want to carry the little fragrance around with me.

All I can say is that I found/find it surprisingly good. What starts off casually fruity-sweet and a bit floral later becomes a bit softer and really quite pretty (even prettier). Unfortunately, I don't know (as mentioned) how long this "later" lasts.

I will take a closer look at this again. I'm usually always up for nice fruity scents.

It sounded delicious based on the notes, so I bought it blind.
Unfortunately, the scent doesn't cling to me at all.
