Quiet, subtle and inconspicuously pleasant
is this fragrance for me.

First of all: I am a lover of strong chypres and intense oriental fragrances.
Occasionally, I feel overwhelmed by my fragrance preferences and/or have become nose-blind.
Then I need a quiet, understated scent, nothing special, just subtly pleasant and rounded.
That's how I came to this fragrance.
I like it because it is so different:
Quiet, unremarkable, simple and yet - in my perception pleasantly lightly fruity.
On my skin, the top note lasts a long time and then a very, very, very subtle vanilla unfolds.
Very close to the skin, very little sillage, I can dare to spray it more often.
Laugh, with my usual fragrance habits, my surroundings would normally have to wear a suffocation mask.
Not with this fragrance.
Unusual for me.
Nevertheless, a completely new pleasant fragrance experience, especially since I can really indulge at the spray nozzle....
In my opinion, a scent for loud lovers who occasionally enjoy stepping into a quiet and inconspicuous fragrance world.
It feels good to simply smell "unremarkable" for once, so quietly and inconspicuously.
And - I find - pleasant.

no hint of Kelly
Does anyone still remember Kelly LeBrock in "The Woman in Red," who turned Gene Wilder's head in 1984?
This movie came to mind when, during my frantic grab for samples this morning, I stumbled upon a spray labeled "Marbert Woman Red."
I had already chosen red pants and red accessories, so the choice of fragrance didn’t seem entirely wrong - although the onset of nostalgic memories also stirred a bit of concern that "a hint of Kelly" might not be quite appropriate for class.
But "no risk, no fun" - and some reactions from my male students could certainly add a certain thrill...

The disillusionment followed immediately:
With "The Woman in Red," "Woman Red" has about as much in common as Princess Lillifee does with Heidi Klum.
Instead of sparkling eroticism, synthetic-sweet fruits tickle my nose, which I can only identify as pear and passion fruit with a great deal of imagination, even when looking at the pyramid.
The scent impression is very artificial and a bit piercing, yet not really unpleasant.
"Woman Red" makes it clear at this point that individuality was probably not the goal of the perfumer.
This impression is reinforced with the addition of floral notes, which consistently continue the unnatural opening.

I cannot detect any further development nor anything in "Woman Red" that could be considered red in the sense of passionate, temperamental, or even erotic.
I find the scent to be exceedingly arbitrary, unambitious, and designed with a focus on supposed mass appeal.
What a shame.
But I really should watch Kelly again...

Floral-fresh, Marbert's answer to J'adore 1999. Polished, subtle, pleasantly unmodern. Works well (but more for 45+).

beautiful sensual scent - fruity-floral-sweet - a steal for the price

Quite synthetic fruity, pear-like - sweet, somehow insignificant, fades quickly, but probably doesn't bother anyone much...

Initially a bit of pear, later red-fruity with a hint of blooming.
Clean-light daytime scent.

Beautiful, floral-feminine scent, definitely with a lot of sweetness, but it just doesn't last long at all.

Delicately fruity at first, solid floral combination on a fine woody-vanilla base, very pleasant "everyday scent," feels polished and feminine.

Creamy clean scent with a hint of fruit in the opening. Sillage is rather weak. Okay for a quick fragrance impression.
