Can't stop sniffing my arm
I just put on this perfume and omg, I can't believe how much I love this. It's what I wanted Angel's Dust to be: old-fashioned, but classy, iris and incense, minus the immortelle. I can really imagine a burlesque performer wearing this: it's sexy, smoky, resinous, but lipsticky at the same time. I will need a full bottle ASAP

Sensual, intoxicating and seductive
This one is a huge lemming at the moment.

Burlesque is a very sensual and as far as I'm concerned the best iris fragrance around, although I have to admit that I'm not usually a huge iris lover.

If you try Burlesque with a completely open mind, and don't have expectations on how it should smell like, you are in for a treat. Burlesque opens with a dusty blood orange, directly followed by a slightly sweet iris accompanied with a fresh patchouli. It's dusty, sweet, sensual, intoxicating and seductive.

Although at first I finished a whole sample it was not love. I found it strange, unexpected and somewhat salty. But my second sample, which I received as a gift with my Luberon bottle, took me by surpise. This time I found it wonderful and alluring. Burlesque is a must have for me now.

Schabernack
.
Burlesque - from the Italian Burla/Burlesca = Schabernack, fun
Schabernack? Fun? Seriously?
More fitting would be: Male vamp, Medusa, Sirens, goddesses in wolf's clothing
I really like it animalistic, smoky, powerful, and special.
But a fragrance must still allow me to breathe before I suffocate.
Sounds worse than it is.
Burlesque by Maria Candida Gentile is hefty and powerful.
A powder puff deeply pressed into floral powder, moved back and forth, smeared on properly. Lifted up and shaken briefly over the pot, creating a nice powdery frame around the pot. Hatschi! Excuse me
And then straight onto the neck, onto the décolletage, briefly between the thighs, and finally shaken the rest over the head, darting through the fine powder dust.
Wow, what a splendor of lilies. It could be the white royal lily. A sweetly exotic, slightly bitter-herbaceous, and creamy scent. Somehow repelling and yet attractive.
Similar in intensity to blooming jasmine or ylang-ylang. A real powerhouse.
Along with the rose, which has been purified with incense. Radiantly pink-red, shiny. Slightly berry-like and cool with a touch of smoke. Mmmm..., delightful.
The lily settles heavily on the skin, and one struggles to smell the tiny orange speckles. With every movement, with every breath, and with every warm-cold sensation, Burlesque develops anew. I would classify it in the category of Boudoir Vintage and Opium Vintage. Not because of any potential (actually only with Boudoir) scent similarity, but because of the immense longevity and density.
Mine! Definitely, and a little spritz more - for the "Schabernack"

Unapologetically powdery with vague floral undertones, minor aldehydic and vanillic touches. Sparkly, smile-inducing, slightly skewed femme.

A rosy lily splendor unfolds into a long-lasting powdery patchouli-incense sweetness. An alluring scent of desire for ages. A candidate for purchase.

Orange on cinnamon bark & sweet resin. I like that. Delicate soapy, not overly sweet, floral, without being a full bouquet. Well done!

I think it's amazing! Lush, heavy, powdery-spicy with rich lily and rose. Worn lightly, it can definitely seduce. Tittytwister!

Mmmmh, oranges, cinnamon, vanilla... And so much crackling eroticism. In dim light, the room gets hotter. Pure baroque splendor!

Powdery, very authentic iris is chilled by sacred incense. Blurred rose eroticism, warmly ambered. Mysterious femme fatale.

The combination of incense and spicy-powdery notes has the potential to be seductive.
Rose and patchouli are just subtle companions. Beautiful!

As interesting as it is complex, the blend of powdery-woody notes: iris, rose, incense, patchouli - it really couldn't get any better.

Warm milk with vanilla and cinnamon, lilies, and for my part, orange. In between, tiny pearls of feminine sweat. Very intimate + oddly beautiful.
