Pleasant for every nose
One of my very first real perfumes. Inoffensive fresh and slightly sweet citrus scent. I can also pick up on some flowers. This is a very work appropriate, everyday fragrance. It does not overpower the entire room and is very neutral and fresh. I don't think anyone would be bothered by this perfume. The dry-down smells delicious.

Of course it's not a very interesting scent and I wouldn't wear it to any special occasions, but it does the trick for normal days. I wear it a lot, it's just so pleasant. Definitely a favourite among the sweet citrus scents. Usually I dislike lily-of-the-valley, but I barely notice it in this one.

Delicate Year-Round Charmer
Although the fragrance pyramid suggests otherwise, my nose is reminded of Mira Bai by Chopard and thus of delicate, sweet peach.
Maybe my nose is playing tricks on me, but if so, it’s a remarkably successful one! Because I love this delicate, charming feel-good scent that is not too intrusive and can be an excellent companion for any season. I can't detect lemon at all; cedar and sandalwood provide a warm backdrop without overshadowing the predominant charm of - and I stand by this - delicate peach.
One of my favorites and surprisingly good for a rather affordable fragrance.

Feminine Drugstore Fragrance
I also have some memories associated with this scent. It's funny to read that others feel the same way. :) My mom used to wear it all the time and often received it as a gift; I really liked the scent on her. It smelled so grown-up, so confident, so "she knows what she wants." At some point, she got tired of it and bought another perfume; as far as I know, Mexx never found its way back into her collection.

Now, about 15 years later, I discovered this fragrance for myself. It is a fresh, sparkling composition, and I can clearly smell the blackcurrant. It then becomes a bit more floral, but to be honest, I can't really perceive a great development of the scent on my skin. If I had discovered champagne or something like that in the pyramid, I wouldn't have been surprised. But it's probably the lemon that provides the pleasant zest. The sillage is close to the body, which is why Mexx Woman is also recommended as an office scent by my predecessors. It doesn't annoy anyone; it's present, allows for a well-groomed sniff, but doesn't overwhelm anyone. Unfortunately, the longevity isn't the best - after two or three hours, I can no longer perceive it, but since the bottle isn't too expensive, a re-spray is in order. ;-)

Conclusion: A very feminine fragrance from the drugstore that smells much more elegant than one might expect. The perfume has recognizability and is suitable for both summer and winter.

Everyday Mexx
~ Inspiration ~
In search of a subtle, office-appropriate fragrance, I stumbled upon this perfume at DM.

~ Bottle ~
Simple and round. It looks a bit more "mature" and serious than other drugstore perfumes. The liquid is a delicate beige.

~ Scent ~
Fortunately, I don't perceive any sour lemons, bergamots, or currants. Immediately, lovely flowers unfold from many roses, jasmine, and lily of the valley. It is rounded off with a slight woodiness from amber, sandalwood, and cedarwood.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 4-5 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair).

~ Occasion ~
A great everyday scent that can be worn all year round.

~ Conclusion ~
I really like this Mexx fragrance; it is versatile and quite affordable. Those who enjoy Hugo Boss scents will also find this one appealing.

Surprisingly good youth reminder.
Mexx Woman was my very first perfume and I was really proud of it back then. I had smelled it at my "cool" city aunt's place, whom I only saw a few times a year, and I desperately wanted to smell like her when she hugged me goodbye. Already on the way home, I practically begged my mother to stop at a drugstore to buy me this scent. Since it wasn't particularly expensive and was available everywhere, my wish was granted, and for the next year, Mexx Woman was my constant companion. Then my perfume journey began, and I lost track of it for a few years.

When I then smelled it again about 10 years later on a waitress, a memory immediately sprang up in me. At first, I couldn't quite place where I knew this scent from, but it felt incredibly familiar and I liked it right away. Maybe I simply associate this perfume with my "youth" and wouldn't like it as much if I smelled it for the first time with my current nose? But I can say that despite my now pronounced niche orientation, I still find it very beautiful and it brings a lot of individuality and style for a drugstore-level fragrance. Back then, it was just right for me.

I usually grab this one when I can't decide. Uncomplicated, citrusy, fresh. So: a lovely everyday scent.

Fresh and cheerful like young spring, and just as fleeting. Still very nicely crafted and a joyful companion.

Nice and affordable (office) scent. Not overpowering, subtly elegant and appealing to the masses! Best fragrance you can find in drugstores.

Light, fresh everyday scent. Great to wear during sports too. H/S isn't bad at all for an EdT.

To my nose, it has a strong resemblance to "La Rive Woman."
This one is lighter and has a delicate fruitiness (peach).
My more pleasant alternative.

Zesty-fresh scent that leans towards lemon iced tea, hardly clashes.
