XX Very Nice Mexx 2009

I was in the mood for a really nice, innocent scent - and Very Nice fulfills this wish 100%.

It is as soft and sweet as a white lamb on a green, blooming meadow.

I am particularly taken with the bergamot-cantaloupe mixture.
However, the scent does not become overly sweet because the tart blackcurrant balances the sweetness.
The pear is aromatic, the lily of the valley lovely - sprinkled with a pinch of cinnamon.
Sandalwood makes the scent creamy and cedar adds a slight woodiness.

A beautiful, transparent fragrance, easy to wear in public, that evokes sympathy.

My nieces wear it at university, my mother-in-law for coffee gatherings, and I wear it when I meet a lot of people.

Its statement is really very nice.

When I first tested this fragrance, I couldn't detect any difference from XX Nice. Some time later, I decided to try both at the same time, one on my right wrist and the other on the left. And indeed. There is hardly any difference. Very Nice actually has nothing citrusy about it anymore. Otherwise, for me, it's the same fragrance.
In terms of fragrance notes, Mexx hasn't changed much either. It's actually a shame because I had just gotten tired of Nice and was looking forward to the successor.

The scent itself is really innocently good or "nice"; it is floral but not overly sweet and definitely not overpowering. As far as I can remember, the longevity, like with Nice, is quite good, and despite the long-lasting nature, the fragrance is still not intrusive. So, it's a great everyday scent for young women and girls ;)
