Violet cloud over the sea
The Fresh Splash had won my attention mainly because of the aquatic notes and sea salt accord. The hope was great, Mexx would bring us here near the sea!
But after the first stroke, my hopes had been dashed in waves. I immediately thought of headache... Violet&Peach?... I smelled so overly 'fresh' showered and hypothermic aquatic that it uh, hurt. What a water! ;(
Then came the twist. If you let the fragrance time, then there would still develop something from it on my skin, I thought to myself... and indeed! From nowhere stepped the wonderful salt, enveloped by delicate Floral, an's light. This bright, light, coherent accord really flatters the nose. It just beams me onto a lovely cloud of violet leaves over the sea... I think this delicately floating scent will become one of my favorite evergreens. But Fresh Splash, that name doesn't suit you - you're more like a purple cloud seven over the sea!
and I find since then really: You stand fragrances from great house, as good as in nothing inferior:) I associate a lighter, aquatic and sea-salt version of Burberry Brit Rhythm for her (Floral eau de toilette)..mmh, almost as good, in watercolor, with the sweetness, but without the tart complexity.
