First land in sight
My first review and the first review for this fragrance. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for this great platform that gives my new passion a stage in my life!
Now to Ferragamo Red Leather...right at the beginning: just as great as it starts, it fades away just as quickly. Unfortunately! Because what I am presented with at the beginning delights my heart. A bath in summer-fresh lime lemonade in fine leather underwear. This scenery is framed by floral impressions that blend in well, but seem somewhat undefined, which does not detract from the first impression. Unfortunately, this opening fades very quickly and with it the leather underwear. After less than an hour, the refreshing lasciviousness is completely pushed into the background in favor of the vetiver, which then takes center stage with the violets. No question, still a pleasure...but together with the leather it would have been a real delight and would have done credit to the name and bottle.
As it is, MAN is left longing to make his way through the botanicals. This is also quickly abandoned. The durability is very moderate for me. The fragrance becomes skin-deep relatively quickly and recedes to a soft herbaceous caramel within 3-4 hours. Pleasant. But I would have liked more.
