a Seasoned Nose, a Perfumers Delight
this one is Challenging, this is not for the average Nose and it is not for complement seekers, these are Niche quality and this one follows that without exception!! this one is for those who loves and a Connoisseur of fragrances, a well seasoned Nose per say to appreciate.. I love it my self and will layer it of frag's I find lack depth and body! the main thing most will get is Castoreum and a Vic's Vapor rub (Eucalyptus) heavy how ever the trained Nose will find the Magic in this one with all the Resinous Facets and dense gummy base.! this is a true Fragheads fragrance a Master piece!!! not for the dabbler in the hobby!

Al Bashir by Nabeel is an exquisite fragrance that captures the essence of elegance and charm. From the moment I first sprayed it on my skin, I was mesmerized by its warm and captivating scent. It instantly transported me to a realm of sensuality and sophistication.

The top notes of Al Bashiq reveal a burst of freshness with a combination of citruses, bergamot, and floral accents. This initial burst of freshness gradually transitions into a heart of enchanting floral notes, where the delicate aroma of roses mingles with jasmine and lily of the valley. These floral accords create a romantic and intimate atmosphere.

What truly sets Al Bashiq apart is its unique base notes. As the fragrance settles, it reveals a rich and mysterious combination of woody and musky nuances. The warm woody notes, such as cedarwood and sandalwood, add depth and complexity to the composition. They provide a solid foundation for the alluring musky accords, which create an irresistible aura around the wearer.

The longevity of Al Bashiq is commendable, as it lasted for several hours on my skin with moderate sillage. Throughout the day, I received compliments on its pleasant and distinctive scent, which further confirmed its ability to leave a lasting impression.

This fragrance is suitable for both daytime and evening wear, as it strikes the perfect balance between freshness and sensuality. It exudes confidence and sophistication without being overpowering, making it suitable for various occasions.

The attention to detail in Al Bashiq's packaging also deserves praise. The luxurious gold bottle adorned with intricate Arabic designs adds a touch of opulence to the overall experience. The spray mechanism dispenses the fragrance evenly and effortlessly, allowing for a hassle-free application.

Overall, I highly recommend Al Bashiq by Nabeel to anyone seeking a refined and alluring fragrance. Its blend of fresh citruses, captivating florals, and warm woody accords make it a truly mesmerizing scent. Whether you're attending a romantic dinner or simply want to feel elegant and confident, Al Bashiq will surely enhance your olfactory experience and leave a lasting impression.

Out of focus
Vying surely for the most notes listed in any perfume, Al Bashiq is a clone of Spirit of Dubai's Meydan. Which begs the question, can a clone be a clone when it's owned by the same company?

So I'm presuming this is the same formula but composed of cheaper ingredients. That, and they're relying on mass market volumes to provide roughly equivalent profits to their premium version.

So what does it smell like? It's leathery, woody, fruity, with a pine note that gives it a slighty musty, almost medicinal quality. I'm sure there's something almost like coffee in there too. At one point it moves into definite barbershop territory, shifts into sweetly floral incense, then into a dirty, animalic, quite heavy tobacco. All of this is fairly standard middle-eastern fragrance territory, but the multiplicity of ingredients means it shifts focus frequently and unexpectedly, which gives it added interest.

I liked this quite a lot, but ultimately it didn't quite click: it feels a little muddy and unfocussed overall, and I wonder if the presumably less expensive materials are responsible for this. It certainly feels as though there's a really stunning perfume waiting to be unleashed, but that never really arrives. A special note of displeasure for the tacky faux-metal eagle lid, which distinctly marks it as the sort of thing you'd see on display in a bargain basement shop: that went in the bin straight away. I'd be really interested to smell the original to see if it manages to cohere in a way this never quite does for me.

Nothing for Softies
It all starts very balsamic, spicy, herbal, green.
It immediately makes a noble impression.
Unfortunately, it fades relatively quickly.
After that, we have a leather oud bomb that can be quite demanding for some.
When I smell directly on the skin, I still perceive a deep smoky balsamic honey note, rounded off with a well-balanced spice.
Leather and oud are clearly in the foreground on my skin and do not allow this wonderful noble green pine, honey, spice combination to come through. I find that very unfortunate.
All in all, a very great masculine scent that could offer more than it does.

spicy, leathery Ricola candy
A blind buy that was worth it.

At first, you perceive a lot of herbal/spicy notes, which made me think of a Ricola candy or Jägermeister :D
After a few minutes, the ethereal and balsamic notes fade away, and a bright/slightly fresh leather note emerges and lasts until the end.
The spiciness occasionally lifts the nose up, and I then notice the tobacco, cinnamon, and a bit of oud; the tiny hint of cinnamon almost gives it a festive feel, but the woody notes and the pine in it keep the scent slightly green and dry.
Honestly, I don't notice the sweet notes, saffron, and vanilla at all, thankfully!
If it had been sweet, it would have just been another sweet oud scent like Shaghaf Oud Eau de Parfum or something similar.

In my opinion, the longevity and sillage could be improved; with such a supposedly large fragrance pyramid, I actually expected a little bomb or a real stinker, but this one is quite reserved.

However, it has survived a shower; it clings quite well to the skin.
Earlier, after showering, I sprayed a few spritzes on my neck and T-shirt and must say that the sillage is somewhat subdued. I can perceive it myself, but it doesn't have an overwhelming projection. I haven't received any feedback yet and will try it out in the office next week. Let's see what the colleagues say :D

Overall, it is still a good deal; for about €70, I have rarely smelled such a beautiful spicy leather scent.

I thought it wouldn't be anything because of the wild notes in the pyramid. But that's not the case. Dark green leather, resinous-smoky, gloomy.

Rough, dirty, spicy, herbal, lots of leather... oriental. Nabeel for a very small budget (Meydan).
Really good.

For me, unfortunately just leather + smoke, soft smoke. And maybe there was a tiny bit of apple. Not bad, but a bit too little*

Similar to Oud Imperial - softer and spicier. Leather comes across fresh. Oud Imp. lashes with leather straps. Bashiq caresses gently and herbaceous.

Balsamic-dry, this blend of notes settles in.
Dominant leather, strict oud - later softer, green nuances.

Almost the Meydan Light. I really like it too, for 45 euros it's an absolute no-brainer for anyone who loves leather scents.

Dry, leathery, balsamic.
I'm melting...
Sounds weird, but for me, this is a good-night scent.
Herbaceous and hypnotic.

There's so much going on that you can't really pinpoint any specific scent. It smells beautifully woody, leathery, and wonderfully blended. Amazing performance!!
