The recycling of the Sculpture... / My expectations and the reality!
Hello everyone,
when I read the announcement of Sculpture Mykonos here I was a bit confused and when I looked at the fragrance pyramid it was certainly no less so.
Why?
There is already a certain similarity here to the old - Sculpture Homme Eau de Toilette ( review ️ https://www.parfumo.de/Parfums/Nikos/Sculpture_Homme_Eau_de_Toilette/rezensionen/273851 ) and to the 2022 'er Sculpture Parfum ( review ️ https://www.parfumo.de/Parfums/Nikos/sculpture-parfum/rezensionen/271310 ) so I was a bit surprised and this way of thinking and assumption proved to be true and what you can read in the headline (first part) is really a fact.

I have known the fragrance very well since it came out and it has always been a certain part of my life. It was incredibly inexpensive, it felt like it was available everywhere, it had a simple and very pleasing scent and when I heard that Sculpture Mykonos was coming, there were certain expectations...!
After almost 30 (!) years you can expect that and when I read it I was very shocked - because it's really expensive at 90€ (I think that's very ambitious for such a house) and well... somehow that raised my expectations...
I immediately thought of a noticeable BOOST in performance and noticeably finer fragrance oils (higher quality and more finely tuned) etc. i "PFEIFE" pre-ordered those because I have a certain connection with them and then came the disillusionment!
You can tell that the fragrance is more modern, more up-to-date and generally very contemporary, BUT it is 6 to 7 times as expensive as the old EDT (Sculpture Homme Eau de Toilette ) ...., everyone has to decide for themselves whether they think it's ok and cool, I find it "not recommendable".
I find the Sculpture Parfum to be a much better, rounder, finer and generally more beautiful fragrance. It costs more or less the same and offers noticeably more.
