Cold anans in the desert
Imagine you're in Dubai in the desert, it's over 50 degrees and there's nothing to be seen far and wide. You're eating an ice-cold pineapple in your tent and your colleagues light up some real oud - that's what the scent smells like to me.
When I found out that the Hacivat oud was coming out. The anticipation was huge, as I am a huge Nishane fan on the one hand and own and love the Hacivat on the other I find each fragrance from the prestige collection very special and well done in its own way. So I asked myself what will it be like this time? Fresh accords, annans - oud can that work? The answer is - yes, but so much!!!
I flew to my home country Turkey. And went to the Nishane store in Istanbul. To try it out, as it wasn't available in Germany at the time. I tested it with great joy and great expectations. What was the first reaction? Well, so-so. I thought it was really good but is it worth it for the price and is it on the same level as the others in the collection? At the beginning, the oud note comes out strongly, which recedes towards the end and develops into a nice creamy gradient (sandalwood), the freshness can also be smelled directly. With the progression I also perceive a nice vanilla note. I left the store with a "disappointment" as I was expecting more and drove back to my hotel. On the way, a scent kept coming into my nose that I really liked, even the cab driver asked me what scent I was wearing. In the evening I visited a shisha bar and really got several compliments from the staff and a nice lady. Even I kept getting the scent in my nose and so it always reminds me of this one evening that was very nice for me. This fragrance really stays with you all day. So I went back to the Nishane store the next day and got it at a cheaper price than in Germany. I have to say you have to give the fragrance some time. And let it come to you. If you have some money to spare, it's worth it, but if you have to save up for it, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to you, rather a Nefs that is more worthwhile for the price. Durability, sillage very good!
