Some hate going on…

Really don’t understand how this is rated at a 4.6. Don’t believe that. Layton is my favorite fragrance of all time and I own that and many of its “clones” Royal Blue is the top of the line for me. Albeit I haven’t been able to find loyal agar, and I’m waiting on Amber Oud Exlusif to come by mail, I pretty much own or have smelled all the other dupes and this is the best. It’s not 1:1 but in many ways I actually like that. It’s a better performing Layton with less spice, and amped up apple and vanilla. This is truly beast mode. I own almost 200 fragrances from niche to clones and almost none of them are beast mode on my skin. This one pushes like none other. Highly recommend this one

Best Layton alternative

For me, Royal Bleu is the best alternative to Layton. I've tested a few duplicates of Layton, but none of them came close to this one. Royal Bleu can do everything that the current batches of Layton can do - and even comes close to the old batches.

It starts - how could it be otherwise - with a delicious apple and some spices. Later, vanilla and sandalwood join in, but it never becomes too sweet. It's simply a crowdpleaser, and it does that brilliantly. So far, I haven't found a single person around me who hasn't liked this fragrance - it is therefore also my most complemented fragrance.

The sillage and longevity are really great: it lasts about 12 hours on the skin, and even longer on clothes, of course, and it glows really well. I bought this fragrance at Parfum-Zentrum for 75 € / 150 ml - which is simply unbeatable for this quality.

At this size, the bottle doesn't fit quite as well in the hand, but it looks very high-quality and heavy. The cap is also really solid.

A clear purchase recommendation from me - in my opinion, anyone who doesn't buy it is just spending money unnecessarily at Parfums de Marly.
