Orientica Xclusif Oud Bleu. Very excited about this one. Got it for a very good deal. The comparison with Pdm Layton is spot on. Pretty close and what I really enjoy about XO Bleu it's the quality. Outstanding. The second that you sprayed it, already smells refined and very well put together. No harshness, no bitterness, no artificial nor synthetic smell. Very high quality fragrance.
Opens up green and fresh at first ( very nice green apple vibe) and in the drydown the spices and vanilla kicks. I would simply love to feel Just a tiny bit more cardamom but aside that.. perfection. I haven't smelled any other Layton clones but I am sure that this one is one of the best (if not the best).
Great balance of freshness and sweetness and the overall blend is extraordinary.
Performance easily checked. 8+ hours with a good or very good sillage.
I would recommend this for nights out and not for casual use.
Also, pretty versatile but not for the highest heat.
Gorgeous bottle, heavy metallic cap and great atomizor. The green one from the same line looks absolutely gorgeous too.
Fans of Layton out there, don't miss this one. You gotta try it !
