White Blossoms in a Spicy Muzzle
From this sample, I sprayed a bit on my wrist without looking at the pyramid beforehand, so I had no idea what to expect.
After a brief subtle opening, orange blossom and tuberose became quite apparent. So, I took a look at the ingredients. Apples? No, not on me (unfortunately), and the pear only as a lightly fruity accompaniment. But wow, alongside orange blossom and tuberose, there is also jasmine, all three as absolutes, and then ylang-ylang as well! A concentrated power of white blossoms! I have the impression that they would love to demonstrate their screaming sweetness but are held back by the spices, which do not reveal themselves clearly. Therefore, this scent does not come across as lush as one might expect. On me, it is also quite close to the skin, despite reapplying.
Overall, for me, it is definitely a feminine fragrance, more suitable for the evening than during the day. However, I don't feel particularly warm towards it. Especially since I find my "Nuit de Tubereuse" to be a similarly composed yet far more appealing perfume.
