Best of the Invictus Line
Just for me I love this scent. I get that hint of Le Beau smell at first like a lot of folks do. But other than that at first it's definitely the best Invictus flanker I've smelled or used. It gets me great compliments with people asking what I'm wearing, leaves very good scent cloud that gets close to the skin after 5-7hrs, but performance has been amazing to me considering I've not had the same luck with Paco Rabanne in the past. Typically I get the sweet that's strong but dies quickly or super intimate on the skin. With this version I get everything I like in a fall/winter scent without the discomfort of choking folks out at first. I can't recommend this enough & it's definitely one I reach for consistently.

Inspiration from your own home?
Invictus Victory Elixir is a synthetic, sweet-spicy fragrance that also has a slightly fruity note. It's a little reminiscent of 1 Million Elixir, which is kind of borderline when you think that both fragrances come from the same perfumery house. But are the two fragrances really similar? And it's noticeable, even according to the official fragrance notes, somehow they are. Both fragrances contain patchouli as well as vanilla bean and tonka bean. As already mentioned, you can smell that both fragrances are heading in a similar direction. However, Invictus Victory Elixir is somewhat softer, the sillage is not quite as extreme and the lavender and incense give the fragrance a little more depth than is the case with 1 Million Elixir with its synthetic apple and rose geranium.
However, the Invictus Victory Elixir does not have a weak sillage and the longevity is also perfectly fine. In my opinion, the fragrance is actually suitable for all occasions that are not too formal. Invictus Victory Elixir is definitely more of a fragrance for the colder months of the year. However, the fragrance would probably also be suitable for colder spring days. In my opinion, however, summer is definitely off limits.
The fragrances also have clearly recognizable similarities in the way they are used. Logically, if the fragrances are similar in themselves, I am unlikely to attribute completely different possible uses to them.
But because the fragrances are so similar, it makes perfect sense for me to briefly compare them in a few sentences. For me, 1 Million Elixir is definitely the more youthful fragrance of the two. The 1 Million is more intense, has the stronger sillage and really just screams clubbing or partying somewhere. The Invictus Victory Elixir is in my perception a little more subtle, a little more mature and overall not quite as loud as a fragrance.

Tropical freshness meets seductive earthiness
The fragrance really surprised me in a positive way, that Invictus gets so much hate here rather less.

As soon as I put it on, the sparkling opening reminds me strongly of Pure XS Night. Then one of the best designer vanillas I've ever smelled comes through. Not too sweet, thank God not like in Emporio Armani - Stronger With You, but reminiscent of the best of Scandal pour Homme and 1 Million Elixir.
I was particularly impressed by the earthy note, which gives the fragrance a certain depth. In my opinion, it also makes it interesting for people up to ~35 who are looking for something striking but not too heavy. Also surprising is the coconut note, which somehow resonates even though it's not officially in there. Several people have already told me that I smell like coconut.

A little tip: don't apply too much, because the fragrance really has a strong presence. But that's exactly what makes it a magnet for compliments. A clear recommendation for those looking for a striking but not overpowering fragrance. For me, it can definitely be worn in the office during the colder months! Otherwise for going out all year round.

A Strong impression...
This won't go into too much depth on this fragrance but I will be thorough.....
.
Paco Rabanne has a specific DNA & that is a sweet-synthetic DNA. It feels like almost every fragrance they made past the One Million fragrance, has this same kind of feeling. So as for Victory Elixir, it starts off with a sweet blast of vanilla that is mixed with Frankincense & amber. And it's there you immediately notice a synthetic almost cheap like smell, it's not like drug store cheap. It's just noticing the synthetic in it so easily makes it feel like it would be cheap. I kind of see what Paco was trying to do with something like this.
This dense like, sweet juice that has a synthetic feel, sticks to most people skin & definitely sticks to your cloths easily. After about an hour, the vanilla has this coconut feeling behind it with an earthy tone. The patchouli has stepped into play & takes away from the synthetic feel some because it's subtle but easily picked up still by anyone near you. It lasts.
& it's better than anyone black from the past. Easy Blind buy!

The Power of Elixir
Even though Invictus line is in general hated by the community. I think this perfume is decent for the price. For me this Elixir smells like an elixir should. Strong with good projection and longevity. This Invictus accomplished all that however the smell is not my favorite. It smells like a very cheap Vanilla Coconut Ice Cream.
Very synthetic but still decently blended and to my surprise a very nice compliment getter.

Sweet, tropical, woody coconut with vanilla and amber in the base. Gives off the vibe of a fiery nighttime luau.

Synthetic sweet , cheap vanilla Ice Cream with a hint of coconut. Not the greatest quality but performance makes it worth it.

A kinda tropical version of Victory. Nothing to write home about. It has that vanilla-lemon-incense base but with a tropical opening

In the end a reinterpretation of 212 VIP Black / Pure XS Night but somehow worse. Less structured and sweeter

Smells like the caramel from Scandal with a touch of coconut added and then some Bad Boy Cobalt added for the plum fruitiness.
