Powerful, not for everyone, but still wearable for me
Nerone is a rather special fragrance. Special in the sense that it will most likely not appeal to the 0-8-15 Douglas noses, but of course also to people who don't like the really dark fragrances.
Here we have a spicy raspberry/passion fruit mix with a good portion of leather and some oud.
The fragrance starts directly with this mix of fruity components, this relatively strong spiciness, something smoky and above all a good portion of leather.
The dark, somewhat wicked elements are listed in the base, but in my opinion they can already be perceived in the top note.
However, the fruity accords of raspberry and passion fruit really come into their own in the initial phase.
Over time, the fruity character recedes more and more, but never really disappears completely for my nose. It becomes sweeter and sweeter and even almost resinous. The dark facets are still present, however. However, I always find the leather a little more intense compared to the oud.
All in all, a great fragrance that really won me over. Nevertheless, it is definitely not for everyone.
