Rose - Oud with a different twist
For me, Annone is a fragrance with a rose-oud combination that has a slightly different design.
Overall, in my perception, Annone is quite spicy, slightly sweet and fruity, as well as creamy and woody.
The fragrance starts with a rather ripe mango, which is given a spicy twist with saffron. However, the saffron is quite pleasing and goes relatively well with the ripe mango.
Nevertheless, the woody oud note can already be perceived in the head. It is not animalic, but still relatively strong and present. This is joined by the rose, which is recognizable early on.
This is quite pleasingly designed, but it has to be said that it can also be demanding.
I think there will be many people who won't really like this fragrance.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of this DNA either, but I still find it pleasant and can appreciate the "quality". Somehow it does get me, but somehow it doesn't.
Over time, the mango fades into the background again.
Saffron remains, rose remains, creamy oud becomes more intense. This is generally accompanied by an increasingly slightly sweet impression.
The oud really comes across as relatively creamy. A relatively present, self-confident oud, which on the other hand is somehow pleasantly creamy with a slight sweetness.
The performance is really good! It easily lasts 10 hours on me and it doesn't really project any worse. The thing really shoots. Personally, it's a bit too much for me, especially with this DNA. However, it's not completely overwhelming. There will certainly be people who find it brilliant.
