Raffaello

R for Raffaello.
Just as M was created in homage to Margherita, R is the fragrance chosen by Pantheon Roma to celebrate one of the best Italian artists who ever lived and a lover of Margherita: Raffaello Sanzio.
Just as one is awestruck and speechless before the artist's works, one is left feeling this fragrance.
The opening is sweet and spicy: strawberry, thyme and cinnamon balance each other creating an unusual but very intriguing accord.
The centerpiece, however, is the base: a triumph of resins and leather.
Frankincense that gives some smokiness, sweet and resinous myrrh, vanilla and balsams to give roundness and creaminess.
Everything comes out perfectly blended and harmonious.
By the way, I do not perceive that amber (ambroxan) background that I have felt in other Pantheons, very good!
This R really surprised me, despite not being a fan of the brand.

Top perfume but not for me

let's start immediately by saying that R is a masterpiece of perfume and this is a fact, starting from the skilful use of strawberry and rhubarb combined with cinnamon, up to the flowery notes in the center and then finding a very solid base formed by skin and incense above all. crazy performance, if you spray this perfume on a jacket and put it in the closet you will find it there after a week. unfortunately the incense note comes out too much on me (which I can't stand) and makes it unusable for me. having said that if you like the incense and leather accord but with a fruity touch this fragrance is absolutely for you. as always I advise against the blind buy, and see you next time :)

Frankincense and Myrrh are dominant

My personal taste may be bad, but i recommend only for ceremony or church. Frankincense and Myrrh are too dominant compared to the strawberry part. In every case it appears elegant and misterious. The oriental part is too dominant so you are not able to catch all the rest in my opinion. It is okey for dinner or for the office, every ceremony moment. Longevity is very high, it is very persistent all the day. It is also good as a gift, but i recommend others also from same brand.

Bombastic House!

An incredibly good composition on a whole different level
At the start, you get a warm strawberry and a light subtle hint of cinnamon in your nose. Followed by vanilla, then frankincense, musk, and sandalwood join in.
You can smell and feel the love and quality in this perfume(s)
For untrained noses, it might be a bit much, but perfume enthusiasts will feel the passion in it

You should definitely give it a sniff!

An Oriental Poem

A hint of strawberry, spiced and wild,
Rhubarb gives acidity, cinnamon sweetens... gentle and mild.
A thread of saffron, golden and fine,
but darker smoke now draws in.
Iris and jasmine, almost invisible,
I perceive incense and myrrh.
Leather whispers, sweet and heavy,

R is a very extraordinary fragrance, fruity, spicy, smoky, balsamic, and sweet with a distinctly perceivable sillage and long-lasting wear.
The scent is not for the faint-hearted, as the smoky and balsamic notes will likely deter delicate noses.
However, anyone looking for an extraordinary oriental fragrance should definitely try R.
