The Tagesschau: Perseus

The fragrance arrived in the post, but I deliberately waited to apply it as soon as I'd had a full day of it.
No sooner said than done, today was the day - off to the office with Perseus !
When I applied it, I was immediately struck by a citrusy-tart, almost slightly green DNA. I was pleasantly surprised, so far so good, I thought to myself.
After a while, the whole game subsided and the fragrance was finally able to unfold a little better, for me it was suddenly a fresh and tart fragrance that was already quite in the direction of Isola Blu Parfum, Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette or possibly Basso, but the vetiver is much more restrained here than in the fragrances mentioned.
The Perseus seems to take this vetiver note, which as I said seems similar to the fragrances mentioned, and tries to envelop it in a "youthful veil" - all thanks to the citrusy and slightly woody notes. But the beautiful, familiar vetiver keeps popping up here and there from the "younger crowd" to greet you.
Why "youthful", because I keep hearing in my circle that these fragrances are more for the older generation (depending on what you want to call "older") and at the same time an image of an older gentleman pops up in your head.

I perceive this interplay of citrus and vetiver in the background unchanged over the next few hours, but something had happened towards the end of the day..
Towards the end, this freshness created by the citrus fades and what remains is this slightly green, woody interplay with the vetiver. I don't know about you, but after 10 hours I think I perceive slight parallels to Bois Impérial - I notice a slightly metallic vetiver and am positively surprised! :)

In summary, I can say that I generally like the fragrance. Would I buy it? I don't know, I would have to wear it more often and test it further. But there is one thing I would wish for, as I really like the DNA, it could be a bit more present! However, I could just have become a bit fragrance-blind :)

Review of the day:
Great fragrance for everyday wear, for work or for the office. You don't get offended by it, the "old vetiver" has been driven back into the 20s and then accompanies you through the day - very nice, but a little too shy for my nose (fragrance blind?).

Addendum will follow as soon as I get feedback from someone outside - the office was so empty today :D
