Delicious
What can I say, it's relatively simple, but balanced. People who don't like patchouli might be swayed here, as it comes across really soft. It's become one of my favorite scents.

For me, it almost leans towards gourmand, with the pepper, cocoa, and vanilla making it almost gourmand for me. Very, very pleasant.

Patchouli-Gloria
Is it possible that the well-known and controversially judged note, which comes from a lip flower plant, does not evoke a musty-earthy association? No goth associations?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly present to you: Patchouli Nosy Be (Extrait de Parfum)!

With a slightly peppery-spicy opening, the patchouli cloud rises so radiantly warm and incredibly pleasing that one wonders if it is really patch that one is perceiving. And yet, there is no doubt about it.

Supported by sweet notes that remain largely in the background, this fragrance presents itself as a beauty that can certainly also seduce patchouli opponents. The fact that the creation is quite linear does not detract from the overall experience. Over time, the patch cuddles up to the skin and reveals a bit more of cocoa, resin, woods, and vanilla. It thus becomes milder and surprisingly wearable, but never truly sweet, never completely harmless.

There is a certain kinship with the also very wearable essence - Javanese Patchouli. While the latter appears quite cool and almost somewhat sporty, the Nosy Be is warmer and spicier. Like two sides of the same coin.

For me, Patchouli Nosy Be is a fragrance that is so dense that words hardly suffice to describe it. It is a scent experience that will certainly excite some, while others may prefer to keep their distance. A fragrance with a relatively high price, but corresponding quality. One could criticize it for lacking depth and complexity as well as for being somewhat uninspired, yet this very quality significantly enhances its wearability. So much so that it far exceeds that of other fragrances that have chosen patchouli as their main theme. This is certainly deserving of recognition. Those who like patchouli will love it.
A soft-spicy, slightly sweet-woody underscored patchouli glory.

The extrait has some strength and can be used very sparingly. A few drops are enough to be well-scented. The 50 ml bottle should be sufficient to comfortably serve ten people (if not more!) as 5 ml should already be enough for a long time (though I wouldn't bet my hand on it, as I don't know everyone's preferences here).

A perfume for which I can wholeheartedly recommend a test.

Patchouli-Olymp
Right off the bat... I am not exactly known for my love of this "cellar-goth scent note"... well dosed and subtle in the background, I can definitely appreciate the note... but here, the dose clearly makes the poison. My ignorance of patchouli is also evident in that I thought of "to be a nose" when I saw the title of the perfume... meaning to be a connoisseur or something similar... chuckle... I didn't know that it's an island off Madagascar; -)))! So that's where the magical ingredient is supposed to come from!
I believe I have found one of the most beautiful patchouli scents with this fragrance, alongside "Patchouly" from Profumum Roma. This scent is a balsamic dream and of very great beauty. A peppery opening, measured and precisely dosed, as always a lovely characteristic of pink pepper, spicy-warm, that doesn't provoke sneezing fits. Especially in combination with the mild and buttery-soft patchouli and its, in this particular case, special charm and melt... simply wonderful. Soft, round, balsamic-creamy with an absolutely fantastic cocoa-chocolate note, not alpine milk... but also not "90%" from Lindt!
Only over time do you notice the slight wood nuances, as you are too distracted by the "delicious cream," resins and woods provide the optimal balance of sweetness, so it never drifts into gourmand territory. Color-wise, I would place it in the medium brown category, significantly lighter than Profumum Roma's earth bomb. The nose rests in itself, it is perfect for quiet connoisseur moments or also in the evening in a suit... it really depends on the type of man, who is already of a certain age, basically for the mature audience. Still, it is not a candidate for purchase for me, not because of the truly delightful scent, but because of a limited, monothematic olfactory experience with patchouli scents in general... as they often remain stagnant and the dominant patchouli suppresses a recognizable scent development... here I could very quickly feel "saturated"... and at a price of €275/50ml, I am already "stuffed" from the get-go; -)))!
The longevity is predictably excellent, it lasts comfortably for 8-9 hours, the sillage is strong, but never exaggerated... rather pinpoint!

Exhaling is generally overrated... I just want to keep sniffing this eternally lasting yet subtle warm-spicy source.

Oops, I think it’s the wrong season to test a patchouli scent. But it’s already nice. I’m looking forward to winter!

One of the strongest patchouli scents I know. Chocolatey, dry, spicy. The dry down is very pleasant thanks to the amber base.

The EdP is already a great and balanced patchouli. What makes the extrait superior is the stronger emphasis on amber (...)

I find it less woody and pronounced than the EdP. Warm, soft patchouli. I'm not sure which concentration I prefer.

Velvety, deep, alluring cocoa-patchouli. Softer, rounder, less pronounced & a bit quieter than the EdP, but both are lovely.

In the patchouli costume, there’s actually a refined milk chocolate Santa hidden inside.
A perfect companion for the "quiet season"...

Cocoa tiger with a gentle(er) patchouli scent, but it definitely contains mint! Longevity is more on the EdP level. Quality is outstandingly good.
