A Boozy Orange
This is quite an unusual take on orange. Instead of being citrusy and fresh, the coffee, almond, and amber notes make this one gourmand, and to my nose quite boozy. It is reminiscent of caffè corretto (liquor added to an espresso). Here, it is an orange liquor, like Cointreau. Iso-E super and amber constitute the base.

Longevity and projection are only average. I like it a lot, and it would be amazing in fall, for days when the temperature drops a bit but the sun still shines. However, I’m not impressed enough by it to not care about the performance (as I was with Cedro di Diamante). I nevertheless enjoy wearing it.

A versatile orange for gourmand lovers
Orange or generally citrus "solifruit" scents are not really my jam, but this one made me curious due to all the gourmand notes. And it didn't disappoint! This is a citrus scent for people who aren't that much into citrus.

Now don't get me wrong, bittersweet blood orange is clearly the main note here. Juice, zest and piths. It's sparkling and fresh like a homemade lemonade. But there's so much more to it. Vanilla, obviously, warms up the scent. Cinnamon makes it slightly spicy and interesting. Labdanum and amber only become noticeable after a couple hour for a softly balsamic base. By the way, isn't it a bit unnecessary to list labdanum and vanilla AND amber, when the amber accord usually consists mainly of labdanum and vanilla? Anyways, there is also something about this that makes me think of caramel, fresh out of the pot, but not burnt. It's a beautiful combination.
My only criticism is that I don't really get the coffee note that is supposed to be in the base. Maybe a bit, if I try really hard to single it out, but I wouldn't have thought of coffee if I smelled this blindly and I think I would have loved some more coffee here.

This is a versatile scent in a way. Citrus is always a good option for summer, and Arancia di Sicilia is certainly sparkling and refreshing enough for hot days. But the cinnamon and ambery base make me think that this would also work well for fall and winter. Just think of the clove-spiked mandarins that are used around Christmas to decorate. Oranges can definitely be festive and wintery. I imagine this would be perfect when you're in the middle of the holiday hustle and bustle and need something energizing instead of the usual heavy winter scents.

Magnificent Citrus Dominant
I’ve given each of my 3 citrus dominant Perris Monte Carlo frags a wear over the last few weeks and gosh, they just do citrus frags wonderfully.

A sense of a very juicy blood Orange with this one is almost palpable, can almost taste it and feel the juice running down the fingers after having peeled it. Not long after the initial burst of citrus, the cinnamon, almond, and soft vanilla kick in to balance out the tang and tartness of the juicy orange and give it a gourmandy citrus is quality, almost sort of a creaminess from the almond. It’s odd, like I can picture drinking some kind of citrusy creamsicle-like smoothie in the summer with vanilla yogurt and a touch of cinnamon to give the flavor a slight kick.

As this heads into the deep dry down after a couple hours, it sits pretty close to my skin… and I kind of dig that. I think they just fits a frag with ties to an island sitting in the Mediterranean… let the breeziness of the sea push that scent around rather than it just pushing off skin. Anyhow, in the deep dry down the coffee, amber, iris bolster the frag adding to that sweet and gourmand nature of this citrus frag. The iris seems to me to keep things in that smooth creamy aspect while the coffee plays in the background as though you’re at a cafe and picking up on the aroma of the espresso the patron at the next table is sipping while you’re dominantly smelling the citrus smoothie you’re still enjoying. In the dry down I’m somewhat reminded of "Renaissance | XerJoff" which surprised me. I’m not sure if it should surprise me or not but it did take me by surprise. I’m thinking something about the musk used in the two frags and of course, the citrus along with that…

Anyhow, today’s wear reinforced this is definitely one of my absolute favorite citruses, and I’m reminded yet again just how wonderfully and natural smelling Perris Monte Carlo’s citruses hit my nose.

Better Amyris Homme
Fresh, zesty blood orange with most of the citric sharpness blunted by a creamy vanilla. A soft dusting of cinnamon and resinous amber add a touch of balancing warmth, along with a bit of floral iris peeking through from the base. Very well blended, quite gourmandish. Drydown goes in an ambery musk direction. Soft projection for 3-4hr, longevity 8-10hr.

Extremely similar to MFK Amyris Homme, including sharing common core notes of orange + vanilla + iris + cinnamon. The flavor is a bit different between mandarin vs blood orange. This is a little zingier, the almond makes it a smidge creamier, the amber adds a resinous touch to the vanilla. Maybe not as heavy on the iris, which is a note I tend to heavily favor but I like the blood orange here more. The stronger cinnamon note and weaker iris make it more gourmand. Kinda sits between the EDT and Extrait as far as density/thickness. Unfortunately, they certainly have the performance advantage as this is rather soft projecting.

Blood orange
Reading the notes, it makes me curious how's it possible there's coffee, almond or even vanilla in it, since the only thing you can smell is the most natural, juicy and bright blood orange.

This is top 2 citrus from Perris IMO, along with Cedro. Another thing I really appreciate about their citrus scents (and the rest of the house for that matter) is that there's not a trace of alcohol even right after spraying it, which is super rare, specially for this kind of aroma.

As I always say with Perris: the quality of the natural ingredients is out-worldly, and that's also the reason their performance is so very poor. However, I'll always have this one in my collection.

It reminds me very much of a liquor (think caffè corretto with Cointreau). It’s boozy, gourmand, sweet, and fruity (but NOT fresh)

A citrus scent that's more sweet than fresh. The coffee note comes across as more cinnamon-like and caramelized. Iso E Super noticeable

To my nose this leans masculine, or at least on my skin (and normally I amplify sweet notes!). Can't detect the vanilla nor the other notes
