The Bunnies Come in Droves
I can only agree with the opinion below.

I had to quickly grab a scent for my husband, and just before the checkout at real, there was a Playboy stand (if the choice had been a bad one, I would have had THE excuse: Impulse buy near the register...). I sniffed all of them as I walked by and chose this one because I found the others too sweet.
Only at home did I really have the time and peace to test it properly, and I found it very good. My husband likes to wear it, and it suits him. For the money (under €10), I wouldn't have expected such good quality. I find it fresh, masculine, attractive. Yummy.

This Playboy is not a Playboy at all...
...and that’s exactly what I like about it.

There’s a surefire way to make me run for the hills: gelled hair, “trendy” clothes, and a few “cool” lines, and I’m out of there. Add a thick gold chain and/or wristwatch and the keys to Daddy’s Audi on the table, and you’ll never see me again. It doesn’t matter if you’ve spent a million or are wearing Creed.

I’m not into playboys.

And the Playboy brand usually just makes me shrug. I’ve tested a few of their fragrances, and they fell into the category of “things the world doesn’t need.”
But somehow I can’t walk past the perfume shelf without testing something ;-)

This time my eyes landed on “Miami.” But another “Playboy”? No. Not worth it. Just the name alone - sounds like the umpteenth cheap version of a cloying “pantydropper” scent. No, that’s really not necessary. But I don’t have much choice left. So I sprayed it anyway. And was amazed.

What is THIS fragrance doing in THIS packaging? The same thought I had during my Kilian tests, only this time I was positively surprised.
This is not a Playboy. Not a pantydropper. Not a “hello-here-I-am” scent with monster sillage.
But one that makes me want to get closer to the man to sniff him. Not sweet, not a bit cloying. But very pleasantly fresh-woody, slightly spicy, minimally bitter. Bergamot and cedarwood. I can’t pick out the other notes. Thankfully no flowers, no fruit. The sillage is suitable for everyday and office wear. And the longevity is better than expected - sprayed this afternoon, and I can still smell it on my skin 8 hours later.

I really don’t understand why this fragrance is rated so poorly here. Not even 50%?!? Do I have such an extraordinary taste, or was the brand rated more than the fragrance?

Sure, there are more refined scents. And louder ones. There are also prettier packages, and more renowned manufacturers, of course. And yet: this is a simple but successful fragrance (and that for under 10 euros).

THIS is how a man should smell ;-)

Not worthy of a playboy
In Bipa or Dm, there are 3 fragrance lines that I avoid:

generally all star scents, Bruno Banane(/i) and Playboy. The latter two are cheap Axe knock-offs that want to say: I am a real perfume and that for a small budget. I don't mean to say that every good perfume has to be expensive; Davidoff's Cool Water is a perfect example that it can also be cheaper. Anyway, to get to this scent, I received it as a gift from my prom dance partner. Even back then, when I wasn't very knowledgeable about the world of perfume, I knew that Playboy does not exactly represent high quality.
Therefore, the surprise was all the greater. A nice, somewhat clear orange, beautifully surrounded by other citrus notes. From top to base note, I find there is no significant change. You can already see that the scent is not Dior Homme or Chanel Egoiste in terms of complexity. But considering what else is out there in this price range, an orange that can even somewhat convince on its own, and doesn't smell disgustingly artificial and sticky sweet like the vanilla in Le Male (for example), is already quite an achievement. Especially when you consider that the company name Playboy stands behind it. Also, a longevity of 8 hours and a sillage that is neither too subtle nor too overpowering knows how to convince. This point goes to you, Mr. Hase.

Not so bad at all
A gift from Grandma. Grandma is very particular and stubborn. Grandma always gives what she likes. Luckily, with this perfume, Grandma didn't decide based on her taste. She chose it based on the packaging.

I have almost used it all up. There were 30ml in the bottle and I use it directly in the morning. It doesn't last very long, but you don't really expect that at this price. Besides, you can use the perfume multiple times a day. It is a fresh scent that is really slightly synthetic. That's why I find the classification "fresh-synthetic" fitting and I would add woody as well. The woody note is not strong, but still noticeable.

I can use it for everyday office wear. I probably would never have bought it for myself. This is certainly related to what my predecessor noticed back in 2014. Playboy is not a brand that appeals to me or that I want to buy. Here and there, you can use the perfume. I wear it throughout the year and it always fits well.

The scent does appeal to me, it's more the name that bothers me, and it also bothers me that it doesn't last very long.

What can you expect for the price? Anyway, my expectations were met! It's quite decent for sports and as a room freshener.

I wore it 10 years ago as a kid. Strangely similar to "Invictus (Eau de Toilette) | Paco Rabanne" before it even existed.

The perfume is fresh and suitable for everyday use. I wear it occasionally at the office. Light fare for every day. Nothing special.
