Confident, and fierce too!
Confidence Homme is, as in the title, cheekily spoiled, for me - an imitation of Fierce! I wouldn't bet money that it's intentional, but it feels that way to me because of the "kindred" name, and also the smell.
The fragrance is fresh woody, and not an exact clone of Fierce, more it is the idea that was copied here, and the direction. A bit like Fierce and Carolina Herrera CH Men (Vintage) had a baby, but more like 80% Fierce / 20% CH Men. Sweet he has but clearly less than the two, and only quite easily.
The whole thing smells really good, but no wonder with such parents...
For me, however, it is a bit more of a "functional" fresh fragrance that is both attractive and interesting than an olfactory work of art.
But that doesn't matter, because I like to wear such scents often. :) It doesn't always have to be an Oud-Orientale ;P
One more thing, Confidence has a very linear fragrance, so what you smell at the opening stays pretty much the same! Which again fits in very well with the functional aspect. :)
But it already has something special about it, so recognition value is present.
The durability is good, and the silage I would call here almost rather dominance! D If I test 4 fragrances, Confidence is the one I smell all the time. He's really assertive.
Not as good as Fierce or CH Men, but clear blind buy recommendation, especially at the price of 20-30 Euronen! ;)
