I expected so much from
Qasamat Morhaf and was ultimately quite disappointed.
With all the fruity notes, I was looking forward to a fruity-rosy fragrance with a niche character.
Because, unfortunately, I can detect almost nothing of the fruits.
For me, the opening smells like disinfectant with "oud".
It's terrible and somehow far too oriental for my taste.
At some point after a few minutes, I notice rose and pepper the most of all the notes.
But neither smells really realistic.
You constantly have this oudy note in the foreground which almost suffocates everything else.
There is also a very present oriental musk note, which almost has a leathery effect in combination with the oud.
In the DD, jasmine clearly comes to the fore.
The raspberry that I was hoping for is unfortunately not present at this point either.
Until the end, I don't notice anything else except musk, oud, jasmine and a little rose in the background.
The vanilla ultimately makes it sweeter and somewhat more pleasant.
But that can't really save the fragrance either.
Because I don't always want to have to wait 2 hours.
On the whole, the fragrance reminds me of the old Lattafa, Armaf & Co. Fragrances at a time when these brands were still launching a lot of synthetic, oriental fragrances that didn't exactly smell great.
The performance is not that strong, at least as far as my bottling is concerned.
I perceive the fragrance on my skin for a maximum of 6.5 hours.
The radiance is ok, would have expected more here too.
Could also be me, or the person I bought the AF from simply had a bad batch.
Definitely unisex the Morhaf.
Perfect for this time of year when it's slowly but surely getting colder.
My conclusion: Not for me, just completely different than expected and the notes that are present here just don't suit my taste.
But if you like
Armani Privé - Rose d'Arabie you might be satisfied with this fragrance.
It's definitely not a safe blind buy, despite many positive reviews.
