The Safe in a More Affordable Form
While browsing in my favorite "things store" Kik, I found this bottle with 100 ml for an amazing 3 euros. Of course, I usually only buy originals, but occasionally I give cheap brands a chance. And in this case, I did not regret it.
This is a dupe of Tresor from the house of Lancome, and it impressed me not only in the store but also at home, where I immediately started the original versus dupe test. Right hand - dupe. Left hand - original.
Spray phase: Tresor wins, the dupe has a bit too much alcohol smell. However, after about 1 minute, this fades away, and I perceive the Tresor-typical scent of rose, peach, and jasmine.
1 hour later: both the original and the dupe now smell warmer and more harmonious. The dupe is a bit weaker, but the base notes are quite comparable.
5 hours later: the scent of the dupe has almost vanished, while the original still holds on.
Conclusion: Absolute recommendation for this fragrance if you like the original Tresor. It is a successful copy. Since the scent of this little water isn't quite as dominant, it may even be the better choice for some. And for those who find the effect too weak, at 3 euros for a giant bottle, you can confidently reapply.
