Decent and very masculine
Fracas for men by Robert Piquet. Hmm...To say the truth I expected/hoped for something more but I'll take the mediocrity of this one. It could've been a contender but it's not quite a pretender. There are hardly and masculine fragrances from this brand but I snapped this up in response to all of the positive reviews and discussions regarding the feminine scents like Fracas and Bandit etc. I figured this would be almost as good, especially since it has most of the notes I love in a fragrance and it was launched during the self described Golden Age of Perfumerie.(1965-1999) All of this being said I must add that this fragrance is underrated to say the least. This is a versatile fragrance that can be donned anytime day or night but I wouldn't slap it on if you're shooting for some female companionship. The longevity is surprisingly mediocre considering what's inside and the year of launch. (1990) Fracas for men is moderately priced but not easily found but since I'm a collector of VINTAGE fragrances this one sits nicely next to such classics as Drakkar Noir, Azzaro PH, Kouros, Eternity, Tuscany, Aramis and Versace L'Homme, just to name a few. I wear this sparingly and very casually around the house or when I'm working as a Chauffeur. Colognes have been a very big part of my life ever since I was a young lad in the 1970s when my Dad would rock Halston Z-14 and Grey Flannel. Right then and there I was hooked and my place in fragrances was just beginning. Boy do I miss my Dad. Rest in piece Dad I love/miss you. :(
