I just got this perfume. It has been a blind purchase, guided by the good comments that I have been able to read over several days. I have to say that the opening is an explosion of bergamot, green mandarin and lemon, of excellent quality, almost astringent. After a few minutes, it becomes more floral, with orange blossom and jasmine appearing, always maintaining a bitter tone but with magnificent finesse and elegance.

This phase lasts about 3-4 hours. without practically declining in intensity, being a perfume with a very correct duration, although it is not a projection perfume (I think according to its philosophy of summer and fresh fragrance), which remains flush with the skin for a long time. However, I have noticed that it is a perfume that is noticeable in bursts for practically its entire life, which can perfectly be about 6-7 hours.

Quite an achievement for this type of fresh fragrance. The drydown is a creamy sandalwood, which really is flush with the skin, where the citrus and neroli disappear completely. In summary, a summer perfume, 100% unisex, refreshing, far from the popular citrus perfumes, original, and with quality ingredients, a great creation by a great master, how could it be otherwise. Totally recommended.

Great summerscent

This is a really underrated freshie. It reminds me of Nio from Xerjoff, the tea notes is quite prominent combined with it´s green nature, really great and lasting stuff for this sort of scent. It can be found for great deals, around designer prices and for that price it is quite the gem. Will be using this one a lot on the warmer months.

Beyond citrus tea

As soon as I spray this perfume, citrus fruits become the protagonists. The bergamot is very evident, the lime is less intense, I perceive the mandarin leaf more than the fruit. After a few seconds lavender and sage appear and join the citrus accord and for 5 minutes the scent remains aromatic-citrus. Rosemary and thyme do not honor us with their presence. At this point the fragrance turns towards the note of tea, which here is expressed in the key of green leaf, without the addition of sugar. Together with the tea I also smell the effluvia of orange blossom and petitgrain which are felt in equal measure. So the heart is green, soapy, citrusy and slightly woody. It takes an hour and a half for this beautiful arrangement to finally disappear. In the base there is an sandalwood, far too creamy, which is not supported by other notes, so it cannot be said to be a great finish. It is a perfume that in its development releases a clean, fresh and relaxing sensation, but has a sandalwood which, in the finish, clashes.

My favorite scent. Head in Earl Grey. Beautiful bergamot opening. Tea is more Darjeeling or green tea. Sandalwood lingers pleasantly on the skin. The heart has a cooling impression. Conveys attentive calmness. A spring and summer fragrance. Dry, not sweet.

Best Bergamot

I want to champion this fragrance. This scent is of the highest quality. For me, it ranks among the top fresh bergamot/neroli fragrances like Le Labo 22, L'eau neroli Diptyque, Wu long Cha, Vibrato Sospiro, Bo Bo Carner, Ani. The top note is breathtakingly beautiful and of such quality, as if you were crushing an orange peel in your hand and releasing the juice from its tiny pores into the air. Later, a herbal blend emerges that reminds me of my favorite Thai massage salon. This indescribable mixture is the epitome of relaxation for me. I can hardly understand the mediocre reviews. It's like standing in front of a portrait where everyone sees something different; for one, it's art that evokes emotions, while for another, it's just meaningless scribbles. What excites me about this fragrance is its complexity. As the skin warms, this scent evaporates a different nuance each time; sometimes a floral garden of lily of the valley and orange blossom, sometimes a green note comes through so intensely, as if you were tearing a leaf from a tree, crumpling it, and smelling it or biting into a green pepper. The base smells of warm wood in the sauna, sandalwood in the style of Tam Dao. Simply perfect. This fragrance is for me a fulfillment, a blessing, poetry, and just a grand cinematic experience. I can smell the emotions in this perfume, and I don't know how one can create something like this. It’s probably the combination of quality raw materials and the experience of a perfumer who has crafted his art with love and perfectionism. Rosendo Mateu will forever be one of my favorite perfumers.
