Emozione Dolce Fiore Salvatore Ferragamo 2016 Eau de Toilette

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but when I smell “fresh peony” or “fresh magnolia” scents on the atomiser, they smell kind of fishy to me. This one was no exception, and it was very offputting, so I hesitated to try it on skin.

However, once I did, it exploded into a shockingly strong powdery floral musk.

I can appreciate a floral musk, but it’s not something I usually feel like wearing, and if I AM going to wear one, it’s gotta be a Serge Lutens.

The base notes of Emozione Dolce Fiore - which is basically the entire fragrance for me - give me a beachy lotion feeling that's almost identical to Datura noir Eau de Parfum. I even feel like this shares a bit of the rubbery latex accord from Datura Noir, but that might just be by association. The white musk completely overwhelms everything else on my skin; I get no citrus or peach or whatsoever, and no suede either, which is disappointing because those notes would make this scent a whole lot more interesting. The only other thing I detect here besides the incredibly loud musk is a bit of fresh floral (mostly peony I think) which wafts around for the first hour or so before evaporating.

All of that probably doesn’t sound very complimentary, but I actually found myself rather enjoying this, purely because I love Datura Noir and this reminded me of it. However, is it something I’d wear? No, I rarely feel like wearing this kind of scent and when I do, I’m going to just wear Datura Noir or another Serge favorite. Also, I don't really see the point in wearing something I can't appreciate fully because my skin chemistry doesn’t bring out all the notes. I’d be interested to smell it on someone else.

P.S. Although Parfumo has entries for both an EDT and EDP version, someone said that this is inaccurate and there’s actually only ever been an EDT. Well, if that’s true, it’s VERY strong for an EDT.

Salvatore Ferragamo Emozione Dolce Fiore was a gift from a friend and I just adore this fragrance. If ever there was a tender, delicate, inoffensive and innocent sweet, light floral this is it. She is sheer, uplifting, very soft like a baby's blanket; floral-sweet with zero heaviness; the citrus here is anything but sharp, serving only to provide a subtle crispness; the fuzzy musk is soft and slightly warm; the florals dance above the musk and the vanilla plays an invisible supporting role.
One word to accurately capture this fragrance is "charming".
Performance: moderate at best, this lasts on textiles and hair far longer than skin.
Value: Looking at the prices, the value is good/ not too costly.
Bottle: I think it's GORGEOUS. So 10/10 on that.

Dear friends on Parfumo, today I would like to share my fresh impressions of Emozione Dolce Fiore EdT. First of all, it is a dreamy fragrance! The package with the bottle just arrived, and I am reporting to you hot off the press about the scent because I must share my enthusiasm with you. I ordered it blindly online because the notes sounded so delicious and the offer was unbeatable in price. Peach, grapefruit, peony, suede, vanilla... all of this sounds to me like it comes from the ingredient list of olfactory bliss. Quickly opened the package and sprayed the fragrance. So, how does it smell? In the opening, it smelled very juicy and fruity. The grapefruit and peach formed a fresh unity, with no component standing out. It almost reminded me of pear. After a few minutes, a floral component emerged. Here, the peony is especially noticeable, appearing dew-kissed and gently woven into the scent's progression. All of this created a harmonious fruity-floral accord. A few minutes later, the suede could be faintly sensed in the background, giving the fragrance a fine spiciness and a noble elevation. The suede smells delicate and white and incredibly elegant. Bottega Veneta can pack it up! Although the two fragrances really can't be compared. But I find this one better. The musk in this fragrance smells clean, bright, and clear. I can't really pick out the vanilla, but it probably adds a slight sweetness to the scent.

Emozione Dolce Fiore EdT is lovely, pink, delicate, floating, attractive, feminine. It is a finely constructed fragrance that knows how to enchant. I think it fits perfectly for a date because it smells so feminine. But it also works well in the office, as it has a pretty good sillage for an EdT, yet is still discreet enough. I can't say anything about the longevity yet, as I haven't known the fragrance long enough.

Conclusion: Another successful fragrance from Salvatore Ferragamo, which is delicate and feminine as if one had kissed a peach and reminds one of pink sunsets. My new favorite!

Oh, joy of beautiful divine spark - Emozione Dolce Fiore!

I enjoy wearing the original Emozione, and I generally hold Ferragamo fragrances dear and valuable.
And right from the first spray, I am convinced by the positive statement of Fiore.
It is, just like Emozione, a friendly, buoyant charmer.
The white peach is airy light, and only gently sweet, softly dusted with iris.
Here, a touch of elegance comes into play.
The musk note is bright and shiny - and gives Fiore substance.

A fine, well-balanced fragrance that doesn’t make you feel “dressed up.”
Despite its lightness, it has a special radiance and good longevity.

Regardless of the inhospitable cold, I put on my hat and head to the fragrance dealer on the run.
But my intention to buy is not fulfilled - the fragrance is not yet in stock.
So for now, I still enjoy wearing Emozione.
