Tuscan soul opens fresh with bergamot and petit grain and a some kind of tea note. maybe that are the citrus leaves who makes it a bit woody. The scent does remind me of Italie with his orange and lemon trees. Its an easy to wear scent on skin it becomes slightly warmer but it suits in my opinion the best on warm sunkissed skin

Desert beach

A beautiful, light citrus based scent that one can certainly imagine wearing on a warm Summer's day while strolling along the beach feeling the sand between your toes.

This scent is so refreshing and delicate, almost like someone has squeezed lemon juice and mandarin orange directly onto your skin. Such an energizing and delightful feeling.

Be warned that this is a very intimate fragrance, stays very close to the skin. Tuscan Soul is not the kind of fragrance that will overwhelm the people around you, rather it will please yourself and the people that you allow to transcend past your personal boundaries.

Salvatore Ferragamo has shifted back to their original approach to fragrance compositions, leaving behind their most recent fruity floral presentations aimed solely at the younger market. Tuscan Soul is for the older market, men and women who prefer their Summer scents to exude class and distinction.

Memories of Tuscany

My local fragrance dealer sells me opened bottles very cheaply - even though only a tiny bit is missing.

They are for my mom in the care home, where full bottles occasionally go missing.
The opened ones remain untouched.
I told him this annoying story, and he had the idea to bring her barely used tester bottles.

And Tuscan Soul fits perfectly into her preferences.
The scent is citrusy fresh - yet sweet and expressive - like the Tuscan landscape that we loved to explore together.
There, the air was filled with bright bergamot, herbaceous - fresh petitgrain, and the aroma of lemon trees.
Delicate rosy floral notes are brushed into the Tuscan picture by magnolia, emphasized by gentle orange blossom.
The gnarled wood of the fig tree gives the refreshing scent character, and the iris adds a soft powderiness.

The alluring soul of Tuscany is well captured in the fragrance.

Since my mom can no longer travel, this "mental journey" will do her good - and I will gladly accompany her.

The scent of a Tuscan hotel, hardly more innocent

If the soul of Tuscany is as shallow and simple as this, I would find it quite sad. Salvatore Ferragamo is still becoming the right fig brand, even if this green plant takes up far less space here than in the discontinued Geheimtipp Pour Homme. Actually good, because there are notes that I prefer. However, Pour Homme had a clear goal, is striking, extremely bright green, and still masculine, which almost makes the fig shortcoming forgettable. Tuscan Soul is really a lukewarm hotel room scent for men, women, children, dogs, cleaning ladies, hotel managers, freshly showered people, and perfume haters.

In short: green, summery, defensive, fresh, very citrusy, just exaggerated. Like an Aqua Universalis on sleeping pills or on a subscription plan. Sensual and seductive is something else. Stinky and unpleasant, but definitely that too. Still, there are so many better perfumes for summer that Tuscan Soul simply calls out its performance like a follower, but nothing more.

It is probably only possible to rate this scent better than average if you have stayed in one of the hotels where it is sprayed or distributed and thus associate it with nice memories. Because the scent itself desperately needs some pep and color; it is too pale for me.

Where do I go to Tuscany, please??

My first impression - it’s not Mediterranean at all!
The citrus notes are strongly overshadowed by the magnolia from the very beginning of the fragrance development. The scent changes only minimally until the base. In the end, the soul of Tuscany is a bit spicier and no longer quite so banal. However, I don’t experience the scent of fig wood through this fragrance, and the powdery aspect of the iris is also more than subtle. It’s a scent that I find just okay, but it doesn’t blow me away.
I would have liked to give this fragrance a more extensive first comment, but unfortunately, it didn’t really have much to say to me.
