A Beautiful Zen Creation

Zen Secret Bloom of Shiseido is a warm fragrance for the fall or winter. I have rarely seen such a beautiful incense smelled. The vanilla in this fragrance is thereby gets a spicy key. The jasmine and Freesia do this fragrance rays. This is a flanker but hope this smell will always stay.

a mysterious, slightly smoky scent. not too sweet, but defined and noble. a blend of light and heavy, neither really floral nor earthy. neither gourmand nor juicy. simply golden intoxicating.
it suits more of an elegant, sometimes somewhat mystical outfit. the incense does a great job. patchouli doesn't stand out much for me. all in all, an extremely successful fragrance.
I don't like the other zen scents. but this one I do. especially in winter.

I was in the mood for a new, cozy, warm winter scent...

With certain expectations, I went into a perfume shop in the nearest town, had a great conversation with the saleswoman, jumped from one fragrance to the next... only to be disappointed to find that THE scent was not among them.

The very nice saleswoman wanted to help me, sprayed Roberto Cavalli and Estee Lauder Sensous - didn’t fit. With her last trump card up her sleeve, she asked me if I knew ZEN Secret Bloom.... No, I didn’t know it and it didn’t give me much hope for finding a new scent anymore!

But THERE IT WAS!!! I had found it.

It blew me away, at first slightly reminiscent of Angel, that warm cozy feeling, then somehow like Coco Mademoiselle, the floral elegance, and then Gaultier2, the comforting vanilla.
MY scent for winter, so wonderfully warm, incredibly long-lasting, somehow very special, elegant and not something you smell on every corner, simply perfect and in a beautiful bottle.

Unfortunately, it is limited, and anyone who discovers it and is still looking for a great winter scent should definitely test it... it’s worth it :O)

My dear husband...

...brought me this fragrance from America because he knows my fondness for Shiseido scents and he himself enjoys smelling them on me. Here in Germany, Secret Bloom will probably only be available for purchase from the end of August 2012/beginning of September 2012. It is a 50 ml bottle of EdP INTENSE.

Secret Bloom is a fragrance of floral freshness and mysterious warmth. It was created by Michel Almairac as a seasonal scent for 2012 in celebration of Shiseido's 140th anniversary - the same perfumer who developed ZEN Eau de Parfum in 2007. Secret Bloom is about "GOLDEN FLOWERS THAT BLOOM AT NIGHT" (according to the advertising).

Jasmine and a subtle freesia note give the perfume a touch of freshness, although I only perceive the jasmine very briefly at the beginning. Patchouli, incense, and a hint of black vanilla provide refined sensuality and a long-lasting, mysterious aura that slowly fades from my skin after about 8-9 hours (after all, it is an EdP INTENSE).

The bottle is shaped and capped just like the other ZEN fragrances; however, this time it is adorned with black floral vines. Very mysterious and naturally creates an association with the name "Secret Bloom".

For me, once again, a successful fragrance from Shiseido overall. I am sure it will delight many ladies (and perhaps also men) here with us.

And a big thank you to my better half. He has proven: Men can indeed be sent shopping...
