I am skeptical

because I rarely like blackcurrant...
But then I hardly notice it at all, much more one is almost overwhelmed by the gardenia. It's amazing how real and full it smells, as if I have a giant bouquet of freshly picked gardenias right in my face. However, it's still not my thing...
Gardenias unfortunately have that little hint of old flower water, even if it's not so strong here in "Ginza Night".
Interestingly, the scent remains quite consistent and develops little; the bouquet only shifts towards gardenia shower gel, body lotion, and scented candles.

Gardenia Intense

While the classic "Ginza (2021) | Shiseido / 資生堂" and "Ginza (Eau de Parfum Murasaki) | Shiseido / 資生堂" bored with their ordinariness and predictability, the 2024 offshoot "Ginza Night | Shiseido / 資生堂" makes a much better impression. The very sweet yet simultaneously intense floral note is primarily realized through the gardenia, giving it a slightly unique but beautiful character, surrounded by vanilla sweetness and the very subtle yet surprisingly spicier cedarwood. Far in the background, the blackcurrant provides a light but lasting fruitiness that further intensifies the fragrance experience.
A truly beautiful women's fragrance for dates and the club, as it smells so seductive while still not forgetting the elegant and, one might almost say, polite aspects.

Moreover, it is quite long-lasting for a floral women's fragrance: it projects a solid sillage for 3½ hours, then it diminishes before fading completely after 8 hours.
Plus, the cool bottle from the line, here in the most beautiful and fitting gradient.

A recommendable, not entirely ordinary evening fragrance for women. I am positively surprised.

Super Fine!

I received a sample with my order. With zero expectations, I approached it. I was blown away! It's now
right at the top of my wish list :)

This scent has few unique characteristics. Or rather, this mix is something my nose can't untangle.
I can barely detect any of the notes from the fragrance pyramid, if anything, just a hint of cedarwood. I can't identify anything fruity here.

Do you know the smell when you leave the hairdresser? That clean, powdery, pleasant cloud that surrounds you? That's exactly how I think Ginza Night smells!

For me as a hairdresser, it's an absolute cherry on top; we have high-end hairspray in our blood! ;)

A beautiful creamy, clean scent that simply feels very well-groomed.
Not in the sense of fresh and zesty, but rather somewhat elevated.
It's a candidate for a new signature scent for me. You can wear it anytime and anywhere.

The opening is beautiful but I wish it lasted longer. The dry down is too heady for my personal taste as it's strong on the lilies.
