Nose Closer
Wish I could tell you what this perfume smells like. I can't. It closed my nose on first whiff, which means it's full of questionable synthetics. For a good twenty minutes I couldn't smell anything at all, including the beauties of which I'd also ordered samples--Hiram Green's lovely Arbole, Arbole, Ex Nihilo's promising Sweet Magnolia, Vero Profumo's interesting Onda. My nose still isn't fully functional, so I'll have to wait to fully test these. Thanks, Nùr Parfum Nektar, but no thanks.

Is the entire brand dedicated to a trend?
Anyway, I like Stéphane Humbert Lucas. His Nez a Nez line was a hit - more followed. The fragrances he has launched under his own name with the addition of 777 are particularly interesting to me.

On the other hand, I haven't dealt with soOud at all, and the reason for that has been the somewhat strange bottles, which look to me like a mix between lipstick and nail polish.

In the last few months, I received some samples and decants, including one of Nùr. Right at the spray head, it smells like fresh, noble soap. The soap also appears for a few seconds as soon as I spray the fragrance, but it disappears extremely quickly to make way for a note that I have previously avoided like the devil avoids holy water: incense!

However, here it doesn’t smell like in a cold, uncomfortable church, but rather like a dying fire made of coniferous woods that contain a lot of resin, resulting in an accord that I perceive as very mild agarwood (oud). Underneath, notes of fresh wood and green mix, along with a very faint hint of floral-fruity in the background, like a rose that smells of apricots.
The projection is somewhat more pleasant, here the smoky note is finer, lighter, and the floral-fruity note is at its level.

There isn’t much change, but the fragrance does become slightly soapier and drier over time - a wonderful contribution of iris to this creation.

Nùr is a truly interesting fragrance that I can neither classify as a women's scent nor as fruity-oriental.

It is absolutely suitable for both genders and smells, in my perception, woody-smoky-floral. So, if you like such a combination in a noble, elegant form, you should definitely test Nùr.

Apricots on leather, resin and smoke with a hint of vanilla. Unusual blend. Very typical of Lucas. Unfortunately, the scent feels foreign to me.

I found Rose de Petra interesting - but I would wear this one too, it has a slightly sour note - hard to describe, but lovely.

Very beautiful, very oriental, very dark.
Wearable from zero degrees and below, then it's great.
