Adult fruit scent - sweet and at the same time slightly tart
If we are currently with the berries, Ouris from SoOud should not be missing either. I've been in possession of the nectar for about a year. Before, I had the Eau Fine. Also great, but with nectar the shelf life is clearly better. They both have Sillage, but it is sometimes underestimated by the wearer. I've been asked about Ouris and the Eau Fine on several occasions. But only positive. :)
About the fragrance: This is absolutely not a sweet cracker, even if you expect the same from the notes. Lovers of Burberry Classic or Hilde Solianis Il Tuo Tulipano should also risk a sniffer here. Like the two of them, Ouris combines bitter and sweet notes in a wonderful way. The black currant is easy to recognize and has a certain acidity. Also peach and plum are clearly perceptible. The longer the scent is on the skin, the more iris, tonka and vanilla will get through. I don't smell almonds here, but I like almonds very much and they certainly wouldn't have harmed the scent. You should like Iris, because she definitely plays an important role here. From the very beginning, the fragrance plays with tart and sweet notes, quite wonderful. He has something delicately sweet, but still never seems too girlish or childish. On the contrary. I consider him to be very grown up, almost serious and therefore always like to wear him in business. But also in private hours he is always a pleasant companion.
The shelf life of nectar is clearly better. I can perceive it until the evening hours. Every now and then a light touch of berries, plums and iris on a vanilla-tone cabbage basis blows around me. Compared to the Eau Fine, I find the nectar slightly tarter, but I can only tell the difference in the first few hours.
All in all a beautiful fragrance. And please don't let fruity-sweet deter you. There are much sweeter and more fruity candidates. This is anything but a Gummi Bear!
