A pleasant surprise....

I took this one as a blind buy since it didn't have tester in the store... I saw it was vanilla scent and expected common vanilla, something similar to Alyssa Ashley vanilla, or cooking vanilla or some vanilla cookies.... When I came home and sniffed it I was sooooo pleasantly surprised with it.... It isn't dominating vanilla scent at all, it had nothing to do with my expectations, it was so much better, so much more interesting and well mixed with other notes.... It reminded me of something from my childhood just couldn't define what it was, it just took me back in the past, to my happy memories..... I love this so much. The longevity is also very good. Definitely worth buying it. Now that I know what's in the bottle, I would pay even a higher price for this. .... Such a small cost for this beauty .

Unexpectedly Often

A few weeks ago, I was walking through the foyer of our bank when I saw two ladies in front of the glass door chatting. I carried the scent trail of one of these ladies outside with me, sweetly fresh and powdery, which accompanied me very pleasantly.

So much so that I considered whether to turn back or continue on. I need to go to the doctor and, in general... this awkward small talk is a bit off-putting for me... turned around - turned back - turned around again - oh, what the heck, I'll go ask her.

The lady was visibly proud (the other lady looked a bit annoyed at the interruption) and pulled this €4.95 fragrance out of her bag. It brought a smile to my face!

Later that afternoon, I immediately picked up two bottles from the drugstore.

I find the scent very flattering, attractive, and feminine. After reading about it here - it is said to resemble Alien - I can confirm this with careful sniffing. It has a certain Alien note, but it is packaged completely differently. It is nowhere near as heavy, fresh, and powdery, without being fruity or floral for me. I can only perceive it as a whole, as I cannot pick out any individual component.

The lady carried a substantial scent cloud with her, so I was very pleased with the sillage. Unfortunately, when I wear it myself, I quickly become nose-blind. However, it is used very often, as it never bothers, fits into any situation, and cannot even be classified as a summer or winter fragrance.

Highly recommended. For those who enjoy sweetly powdery, not too heavy scents. And to everyone's delight, it is easy on the wallet.

Powder Bomb --> Shirin David!

The scent has quite a punch, you have to like it, the full powder bomb... I don't know how anyone would think of Alien here, I think it smells pretty much exactly like the first Shirin David fragrance!! So if you liked that one, you'll also enjoy white vanilla.

Love at first...uh second glance?

A few weeks ago, I was at my trusted drugstore to pick up some of my "essentials." I briefly browsed through the perfume shelves, without the intention of buying any of them. Relatively randomly, I applied the scent "Spirit of white vanilla" to my wrist, but then immediately put it back and didn’t pay it any further attention. Since I had rather bad experiences with this brand in the past, especially with "Spirit of fizzy tangerine," I honestly didn’t have high expectations for the scent, which is why I didn’t even take the time to sniff it properly in the store (apparently, I still wanted to give myself and Spirit another chance).

Once home, while continuing to write one of my assignments, I finally noticed the scent positively - yes, I liked what I smelled. This fragrance lingered on my wrist all day, so that it was still noticeable even after washing my hands. I was annoyed that I hadn’t taken some time to sniff it in DM. A few days later, I went back to the drugstore to buy the bottle and lo and behold: all sold out. Long story short, it took at least another two weeks before I could finally find and then purchase this scent at a Müller.

Once home with the fragrance, I had to test it again right away. To my shock, however, I was a bit disappointed by the scent this time. Was my anticipation in vain? Did I just inhale my wrist incessantly to procrastinate, to avoid my work? Or am I already suffering from memory loss?

Spirit of white vanilla is definitely not a bad scent. In my opinion, it has very little to do with vanilla. The white floral bouquet and the musk are particularly prominent for me. Only a hint of coconut and peach comes through. However, the second time around, it comes across as a bit "stale," almost a little flat. I have no idea how else to describe it. It is still not offensive or alcoholic, just a bit different from how it originally registered in my memory. While it is cozy, it also feels a bit serious and quite linear on me. When I smell this fragrance, I think of a library: a friendly middle-aged librarian appears before my eyes. I find libraries and books wonderful, yet the scent hasn’t completely captivated me so far.

I don’t regret buying it, as it was quite affordable and the longevity of the scent is impressive. However, I might have "hyped" it more due to my marginal memory than it is, in my current opinion, worth. Whether I will reach for another Spirit fragrance in the future remains to be seen.

Vanilla Bath

I smelled this fragrance on someone. It immediately captivated me. This wonderful scent of vanilla. It felt like this fragrance was hugging me. Of course, I had to know what the scent was called and was astonished when I heard how affordable it is. Incredible. Such a great perfume for so little money. I will definitely get it and it fits perfectly in my handbag.
