Peeling a clementine and then eating an orange creamsicle
The beginning smells exactly like peeling a clementine skin and taking a deep breath of the essential oil that has permeated the air. It's very fresh, citrusy, bright and sparkling. As it starts settling down a little bit, I start getting a very lovely vanilla that turns this fragrance into an orange creamsicle. Still juicy, but it also has that mouthwatering creaminess. Super enjoyable, not too sweet, nor too strong, done just right! As it moves on I start getting some magnolia which adds a pretty touch of floral notes that mingles with the orange creamsicle vibe. The drydown becomes sweeter, with some added warmth and a touch of cedarwood in the background (very woody and wouldn't say it disrupts the fragrance).
It's not an overly strong fragrance and the projection isn't the most monstrous, but it remains on the skin for awhile. I wish the orange creamsicle had stayed a little longer, but the scent follows a lovely evolution and I can't really fault it for it. I decided to go for a travel size because I enjoy the first part of the fragrance, but won't be going for a full bottle since the drydown becomes vanilla and woods.
