my love for vanilla
My passion for vanilla began around the mid-90s. I was in the 6th grade and finally allowed to go to the city on my own to spend my pocket money. At that time, I thought I was grown up, and the transformation from girl to teenager began! Aside from wanting to wear cool shoes, I also wanted to smell good :). Since my mother always wore a vanilla cream, it was clear to me that I wanted a vanilla fragrance. I have no idea who told me to go to "the Body Shop" because it wouldn't be as expensive as in a perfume store. Said and done, I had no clue about the big world but I found the shop. "I would like a perfume that smells like vanilla," and just like that, I had a spritz on my skin. I will never forget it; that's how I imagine "love at first sight" (I even got vanilla flowers tattooed, but that was much later). Before the saleswoman told me to smell my arm, I already wanted this scent; right after spraying, I smelled this beautiful vanilla. I can't imagine a life without it to this day. For a while, it was no longer available; my nightmare came true, but luckily it was only because of a new design. Since then, I always buy a stock. To this day, I still wear this fragrance, and from my friends at school, I keep hearing, "Isa, you still smell like vanilla pudding." I think the scent lasts great; I prefer to wear it during sports because it becomes nicely intense but not heavy when you start to sweat. I often hear that I am smelled before I am seen :).
