A legend says that lilacs appeared when spring arrived. Spring had collected some rays of sunshine and mixed them with the colors of the rainbow and then began to put them on the earth. Once she arrived in the north, she only had two colors left: white and purple, so she threw the purple on a small flowering bush and, with only the white color remaining, it scattered it on the ground.
