Sweet Whisky

This is the most realistic whisky note I have ever smelled. Imagine opening a bottle of whisky and smelling it, that's how this fragrance opens. The bergamot and lemon gives this fragrance a bright opening. After a couple minutes it transforms into a nice boozy, woody, sweet, oriental, slightly smoky fragrance, I don’t smell any oud. The caramel and vanilla gives it that nice sweetness what this fragrance needs.

The performance is out of this world, I can smell it all day on my skin and weeks on my clothes.
If you like the smell of whisky and like boozy fragrances, this is the one for you.

A midnight cocktail

A midnight cocktail, elegantly dressed.
A woman in a silk dress, her back exposed, looking out onto the terrace with a glass of whisky.
Her sensuality can be felt in the air.
A warm scent, mixed with the touch of whiskey and tobacco makes her irresistible.
Kutay, an award-winning fragrance in the boozy category, cannot leave anyone indifferent.
Seclude yourself in a quiet place to talk, looking intensely into each other's eyes.
Its alcoholic opening is accompanied by the aroma of davana, the bitter sweetness of caramel, a pinch of Oud and amber and vanilla hints.
On the skin it remains like something extremely sexy and decisive, one of the few boozy perfumes that I liked.
To men it gives an incredible charm, to women an aura of mystery and softness.
Love it.
In short, very high performances, you will not go unnoticed.

Real whisky !

This is a True masterpiece from this house . Very realistic Whisky accords . Just the real amount of sweetness . Some fragrances give you OOoomph effect . This is that type of fragrance . Do not try in hot and humid weather . This is strictly for winter only . Love it . I got similarities with Nassomatto Baraonda. But baraonda is way more sweeter than this .

Beast mode boozy fragrance

First off, I've never tried Baraonda, so won't try to compare the two.

The opening of Kutay is, well, annoying and I'll leave it at that. Doesn't quite stink and isn't repulsive but it is annoying. Bite a bullet, put a clothes pin on your nose, whatever, for 15 minutes. You'll then be immersed in a heavenly cloud of whiskey, tobacco, caramel, woody notes and mild sweetness. Very easy to pick the notes out on this one and provides an enjoyable journey as it dries down. Kutay is quite whiskey forward - that top note stays around for most of the life of the scent. You definitely have to be a fan of boozy fragrances to attempt Kutay. But it's not all whiskey - the scent is not pure booze, with the other notes contributing to the overall fragrance.

Kutay is an excellent example of a beast mode scent. Longevity was over 24 hours on skin with monster projection and sillage. It's a testosteronic boss man scent. Need big balls confidence to pull this one off. Definitely not a summer scent or for warm days. Best saved for cool or cold days. Very good value at around $170 at discounters in the USA.

Baraonda even worse

Once again with this brand, all parameters in terms of openness, wake, hold and projection are at their peak. During the first hour, it's hard to tell the difference between Kutay and Baraonda, but Kutay is heavier and less refined. As time goes by, Kutay reveals its overdosed base of amber wood, probably ambroxan. It's nauseating, it's all I can smell. Even when I wash the perfume off my skin with Marseille soap, I can still smell that amber wood, overdosed!!!! Nuclear hold! To vomit! For the record, I own Baraonda, and I much prefer it in terms of finesse and quality.
