Smooth Lavender
Some time ago, I bought the Fragrance Mist of this scent online because it was very inexpensive. And I was quite taken with it. However, it somehow ended up with my daughter (that seems to happen more and more). She was supposed to order me the Eau de Parfum. Again, I didn't listen properly, something with rose. So I got the Embrace - Rose Buds and Vanilla Eau de Toilette. That one was really nothing, very synthetic and piercing.
But then I finally got it.
A glass bottle, square with a plastic cap, quite simple. But I like it plain.
I can hardly perceive the mandarin; right from the start, I get the lavender, which I don't find to be that sweet. I can't identify the tuberose either; I see it more as a very subtle rose accompaniment. A friend always makes this gagging noise when she finds one of my scents too powdery. She doesn't do that with this one. But honestly, I don't ask her anything about my scents.
For me, it's a predominant lavender scent with a rosy undertone on a vanilla base. The vanilla here only provides a slightly sweet carpet on which the smooth lavender rests calmly. The longevity is good for me, over 7 hours. I will probably never be able to assess the sillage. I was around people earlier, but they didn't say that I smelled good. They said, "Oh, that bicycle belongs to you." I say, despite a pulse of 180, I smelled relaxed.
