Summer Freshness
I know that Jardin des Nymphes doesn't come off particularly well here, but I like it, and I stand by that.

Actually, I was looking for a replacement for my favorite aquatic Derives Marines by Daniel Jouvance (which isn't really one, but at the time I thought it was an aquatic), which is much more robust and fresher. To this day, I haven't found a similar scent.

I would describe it as fresh, light, and somewhat sweet; unfortunately, I can't pick out individual notes, but if I had to guess, something like water lily or lotus would come to mind.

On me, it has a slightly aquatic effect, but it remains fresh even at high temperatures, just like right after application. It doesn't develop into a sweeter scent on my skin, so I guess I'm lucky with my skin chemistry.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last as long as I would like.
Of course, it's not exactly a masterpiece, but I find it completely okay
for the price. There are much worse scents out there!

I usually wear it in the height of summer when I just want to smell fresh and lightly perfumed.

I quite like the bottle; the gradient is very pretty.

Oh dear, was that necessary?
I really like Yves Rocher. Truly. They consistently offer a good, sometimes even very good fragrance at a moderate price. Vanilla Noire, for example. Or Comme une Evidence. And their lilac scent Pur Desir de Fleurs Lilas is considered THE lilac fragrance par excellence. Is it really necessary to jump on the ever-accelerating train of "Limited Editions" and throw some random water onto the market? Apparently, yes.

The scent is very nice at first. Light, aquatic, slightly floral, it later becomes a bit warmer and powdery, and you think: hey, this must be great for summer! Unfortunately, I had to notice an unpleasant development during the first hot days of this year: in the heat, it becomes sticky and gooey, so unpleasant for me that I really had to quickly shower again and apply a different fragrance before the guests arrived. It smelled as if I had glued a lollipop under my arms...

What annoys me aside from that are these vague ingredient descriptions regarding "floral notes" and "watery notes." This is not due to Parfumo, but to Yves Rocher! What is that supposed to mean? There are ingredients that create floral notes. But a wildflower meadow is large, so where do they get it from? And watery? What is that supposed to be? At least they could be elegant and write "aquatic." I wouldn't say "I have a toilet water..." >:o(

"Jardin des Nymphes" could have been a light, aquatic fragrance that refreshes like a body tonic and doesn't promote the urge to wash alongside oppressive heat. Instead, Yves Rocher has created something I have never encountered before: a limited-edition summer fragrance that is only wearable in summer at temperatures up to 22°C. Makes real sense.

Jardin de Nyphes!
I find it a pity that there is no more detailed description of this perfume here, maybe that can be improved?
Compared to Naturelle, I find this little water a bit bland or boring.
It smells of mango in the top note, followed by a floral note of water lily, sweet-scented rose, with a barely noticeable cedarwood note in the base.

Since I already know and love Naturelle, I was very curious about this new scent from Yves Rocher! However, I was somewhat disappointed by this new perfume!
Not that this Eau de Toilette is bad, it’s just not to my taste. Too bland smelling, without a clear structure, that’s how I perceive Jardins des Nymphes!
Naturelle offered more, but it was also a completely different fragrance direction!
But tastes are known to be different, just as perfumes are different!

A testing is still worth it for Jardin de Mymphes!
