Verte Envolée Yves Rocher 2023

It's a beautiful perfume that smells like myrrh. I liked it better when I tested it in the store. I have the 30 ml bottle that I received almost as a gift from Yves Rocher at a very good offer, with one of the orders. It's a persistent perfume on the skin. I think it's unisex. The bottle is nice, as is the box. If I had bought it at full price, I don't think it would have been worth it; with that money I buy holy myrrh on a heavy basis and get other benefits, but I already have enough holy myrrh at home, for now. Rating: 8/10

Fresh citrus, calming tea, light and airy. Reminds me of Light Blue by D&G, both the pour femme and pour homme. It mixes a citrus opening reminiscent of Light Blue Pour Homme with the soft drydown of Light Blue, along with some calming tea. The opening is somewhat soft and delicate compared to Light Blue PH, which has more of a sparkling effect on my skin in contrast, but it's similar in the brightness of the citrus. It's a nice wake-up scent: bright and airy citrus for the first few minutes, and then slowly transitions into a happy herbal tea.

Fresh-green, green, green-fresh, minimally rosy.

Actually, this almost perfectly describes the scent, and one might think a statement would have sufficed here. However, in my view, that is not the case!

The scent starts wonderfully green-fresh; I consciously do not perceive any lemon or bergamot.
I feel as if I am lying in a huge pile of freshly green leaves on a meadow. Not fallen leaves, but freshly sprouting green leaves from birch, alder, beech, and co., along with the grass... In between, there might be a few lemon zests or some lemon verbena leaves sneaking in, but there are so few that you cannot recognize them individually; they simply give the green leaf pile a slight extra freshness.

After at most 1 hour, one perceives a very delicate, subtle rose in the background. The specified centifolia is a fully bloomed garden rose; I associate it more with a delicate pink, unfilled dog rose (Rosa corymbifera). The rose scent is so delicate and unobtrusive - for me, the image of a full, strongly scented rose does not fit.
Primarily, Verte Envolée remains green-fresh with a very faint and beautiful rose note.

I cannot detect the specified black tea at any time. Perhaps at first a green tea or oolong - but I really do not find the bitterness of black tea.

The longevity is - as is usual for fresh scents - not outstanding; after about 3-4 hours, it has disappeared.

I am currently still in the hospital, and a dear colleague visited me yesterday while I was testing this scent... She quickly asked me what perfume I was wearing - it suited me "like a glove." It smells so "green" and natural - exactly this scent is what one would expect from me, the "garden aunt"; it seems so "eco," made from natural ingredients, chemical-free, unadorned.
In the evening, my sister came by, and I sprayed it on again... She also said that I smelled completely natural in "green," which suited me very well - even though she didn't like it. But it would be a good scent for "gray eco-mice" like me (she is more "bling-bling" and loves sweet, vanilla, and coconut - the opposite of me).

It is really not one of the most amazing scents I have tested so far, but it is simply beautiful, unobtrusive, and yes - it seems to fit me perfectly.
It could very well be that it will find a place in my collection someday.
And the not-so-high longevity is also bearable in terms of price.

EDIT 24.09.: Verte Envolée was for me THE scent of my summer 2023 - I have never worn another one so often and with such joy! It has clearly risen to my "top scents"!
I would almost call it my 'signature.'

My wife and I were at the local YR store today to pick up various cosmetics. On this occasion, I asked about the new "Verte Envolée | Yves Rocher," as it had not yet been presented in the store.

The always very friendly saleswoman quickly brought a bottle from a back room, and I had her spray a generous amount on the back of my hand.

Right from the start, the scent is very fresh, citrusy, and I can clearly smell a green note. However, the citrus scent doesn't remind me so much of bergamot or lemon; I think more of verbena, as it is not as sharp as a citrus fruit, but rather soft.

Throughout the rather long scent development, which I perceive as quite linear, I searched in vain for the black tea and rose.

Verte Envolée is, in my opinion, good to wear in spring and summer, with a decent longevity of about six hours.

I would categorize the scent as unisex.

I cannot yet make a final statement about the sillage, but it should be in the moderate range. The bottle looks appealing, like all from the new series, and feels good in the hand.

An "everyday brand"? An "everyday scent"? One can see and smell as one likes. But it is open to "everyone" to afford this beautiful fresh yet deep fragrance, as it does not cost a "fortune." I place it as wearable for the entire calendar year, in late winter as a prelude to spring, in spring to deepen everything, in summer when it should be a bit cooler, and in autumn anyway, because the cozy "tea time" is approaching and many roses bloom again. And overall, if you love "rainbow colors." Starting with the cool green that wonderfully represents bergamot. Over the many colors of roses, ranging from apricot to yellow and orange-purple to violet to the deepest red! The slightly bitter notes of tea - aromatic and diverse, provide a solid foundation. And never too sweet, as the acidity of lemon and delicate woods help keep it pleasantly fine-sweet. Always in the shimmer of an olfactory rainbow. Sometimes after a rumbling summer thunderstorm, where the sun is already appearing while it is still raining. Or on an April day after a cool shower... And enriching winter with the first spring vibe.
Pleasantly smelled, well-lasting, and nice in the sillage - not a mundane everyday scent!
