Sauvage Eau de Cologne for €9.95!
Scent:
Aromatic Future starts off very fresh. The lemon particularly stands out in the top note. After just a few minutes, it disappears, and in its place, a synthetic, yet not unpleasant lavender and woods emerge. It remains woody in the base note of the fragrance, with Ambrox and a hint of vetiver joining in. A gentle sweetness (possibly tonka bean) also makes an appearance from time to time.In comparison to Sauvage, I would say that the similarity of the scent itself is around 90-95%. However, Sauvage is stronger, louder, and more intense to my nose, but also harsher and more prominent.
The relationship mentioned by other users, that Aromatic Future could be seen as an Eau de Cologne version of Sauvage, I find accurate and agree with.
Longevity & Sillage:
With 4 sprays, I can perceive the scent on myself for up to 6 hours. The sillage is only present for the first 1-1.5 hours. After that, the fragrance becomes very close to the skin.The scent may behave differently at higher temperatures, but at the moment (in single-digit temperatures), it is not strong enough for me, especially outdoors.
Versatility:
In my opinion, this fragrance is best suited for warm days, as it presents itself as fresh-citrusy, and the minimal sweetness in the base will not be unpleasant even on hot days. Furthermore, I find it not particularly suitable for cold days due to the mentioned weaknesses.
