A flirty scent
I really enjoy this perfume. I have a few favourite parfums from Zara, and this is definetely one of them.
I carry the small 30 ml bottle with me in my purse, as the size is very convenient and the color of the bottle is very nice.
When I spray it on it creates an explosion of sweet, fruity and floral notes that eventually settles very nicely on the skin and clothes, in the end revealing the vanilla scent. I wouldn't use the word marshmallow for this fragrance, as I don't feel like I can really taste the fragrance.

Mango addiction?
Maybe my nose is playing tricks on me, or maybe Marshmallow Addict in the rectangular bottle last year was slightly different from the current cylindrical bottle. I remember that I tried it briefly, really enjoyed it and wanted to retest it, but then it was sold out. It smelled like the older Escada summer editions from the early 2000s to me, maybe a bit like Tropical Punch, and also a bit creamy underneath all the fruitiness. It's definitely a misnomer though, nothing about this scent ever was even remotely reminiscent of marshmallows.

Anyways, I was pretty happy when I saw this come back this year. But when I tested it again, the magic was gone, and it didn't come back while retesting. This is a nice Escada-esque summer fragrance, but it doesn't smell like the older ones from my youth. It's better balanced than some of the more recent editions though (looking at you, Summer Festival, Flor del Sol and Miami Blossom).
The main note is clearly mango, with a fresh, shampoo-ish feeling and enough sweetness to keep it from going sour (a problem I sometimes have with mango). The base is a fluffy white musk that anchors the fruitiness nicely, but it's not quite as creamy as I remember.

A perfectly fine summer option on a budget, but nothing mindblowing, and not even especially outstanding among the other currently available Zara fragrances.

"Marshmallow Addiction" has no marshmallow to be found
I feel like fragrance makers shouldn't be allowed to include a note in the title that isn't in the scent lol ("marshmallow"). Moving on...

To me, Marshmallow Addiction is "fruity fresh shampoo" (pear, apple, soft white florals) + powdery sweet tarts.

On a tester strip, it maintained more of the "fruity fresh shampoo" (watery green apple) than it did on my skin, which is a bummer because I would have loved more of that.

Dry down on my skin also was very quiet and had a hint of something like burnt sugar, which I did not enjoy - but I understand could have just been my own skin chemistry.

Overall, this was pleasant but a bit synthetic for my taste and didn't wow me. There are many stronger, and more dynamic, sweet "fruity fresh" fragrances that I'd prefer over this one - such as:

- PacSun Nollie
- VS Endless Love
- VS PINK Honey Passionfruit
- BBW Beautiful Day (2023 release)

Peach Addiction in a Cylinder
I actually didn't plan on getting Marshmellow Addiction because I didn't want anything sweet.
But when testing it in the Zara store, I was pleasantly surprised. The perfume smelled like a fruit basket, but not like sticky marshmallow sweetness. Bam, the perfume was purchased. 23€ for 80 ml, that's reasonable.

Bottle:
Cylindrical, with a colorful gradient and golden lettering. Heavy glass, but feels good in the hand. The plastic cap sits firmly on the bottle.

Scent:
The scent description on the Zara homepage states "delicious fruity aromas" and "sunny floral aromas." The former takes the lead, and I believe they are peaches. Crisp, fresh, sun-ripened peaches from the tree, not from a can. Mmm, delicious! I don't perceive any floral aromas; the peaches are just too dominant. Only slowly do vanilla and musk come through, rounding off the scent nicely. In hindsight, the name of the perfume is somewhat misleading; Peach Addiction or Peach Dream would have suited it better.

Marshmellow Addiction is a playful, fruity scent that is clearly meant for the warmer seasons. The sillage is average for me. On clothing, the scent lasts longer, but even here reapplying is necessary. Because eventually, the peaches get legs.

Smells like a clean watermelon scent-- very generic sweet/fruity. If you told me this was by Escada I'd believe you. No marshmallow in sight

Zara
seems to name perfumes only after things,
that aren't actually in them
Sour, overpowering fruit punch here
Wanted: Marshmallows!

Marshmallow Addiction without marshmallows.
Very disappointing..
What’s left are juicy peaches and sweet apples.
Zara can do better..

Very very fruity-sweet, it really has something of the old Escada summer limited editions. I think it's squeaky-great!
