Creamy cloud
Three years ago I wrote a statement about Mimosa Cloud, which was: "For me creamy with a metallic note that reminds me of Burberry Her. I like it very much, but unfortunately does not suit me. H&S very good." Since then, I've basically never used the scent and dug it out again today. And I feel the need to write something more about it.
The similarity to Burberry Her is definitely there, but I think it's mainly this somehow metallic note that made the reference to Burberry Her for me. I already wrote the other day that this metallic note suddenly disappeared in Burberry Her. Either I don't perceive it anymore, or Her has changed over time. And the same thing has now happened with Mimosa Cloud. The metallic note is only very slightly noticeable in the background and no longer pushes itself to the fore. Now I see much more the differences between the two fragrances. Because fruity is Mimosa Cloud in no way. But very creamy, rather floral creamy with a hint of pistachio. I'm not a big fan of floral scents, but I really like this, especially embedded with that creaminess. Wow, I really like this scent now that that metallic note is gone!
Verdict: I love the matured Mimosa Cloud and will definitely wear it more often in the future.
