Repetition of Zara's "Man Silver" and "Winter Collection".
"Vergeshock" is a pleasant scent, but boring once you’re done with it.
Notes of wood, spice, and a hint of freshness that express a bit of maturity and elegance. In terms of its olfactory texture, "Vergeshock" feels like softly scented pigments. Slightly sweet, powdery, dry. A touch of green resonates in the background.
Overall, it is solidly synthetic, matching up to more expensive designers.
Despite some differences in detail regarding the fragrance composition, it is ultimately an unnecessary release that will quickly disappear into the depths of Zara. There were already at least two very similar releases within Zara, which are the fragrance twins of two releases from Gucci (Guilty pour Homme Eau de Toilette and Guilty Intense pour Homme).
In detail, the "Vergeshock" variant within the other two from Zara appears a bit softer, more restrained, and does not act as aggressively. So it is finer, although the sillage is correspondingly subtle as well. "Vergeshock" is already better than Zara Man Silver Eau de Toilette and Zara Winter Collection.
Anyone who is not yet tired of this type of fragrance theme will still find pleasure here.
Personally, I categorize "Vergeshock" into the following:
•"Zara's misleading naming conventions"
•"Fragrances that the world does not (need more of)"
•"for the sake of license retention regarding the formula (or something), commercially just throwing something out there. People will buy it anyway, at least out of curiosity (like me)."
•"not a blind buy, as it is totally unnecessary if you already have experience with the Gucci Guilty line"
